Hi Sam, I've got a few ideas which I think would be cool to see. Here's some from the top of my head:
- Aftermarket infotainment system (Car play / Android auto) with optional speaker upgrades and perhaps a subwoofer.
- Wind deflectors (People either love it or they hate it)
- Custom exhaust (I'd suggest not going for anything too loud as it's a right ball ache on long journeys)
I know that you've tried doing the tints yourself, but depending where you are it should only cost around 150 to get the rears done professionally.
Since you've gone for the black centre caps for your wheels, I'd suggest going for black badges on the front and back of your car, and even the steering wheel to match.

If it comes to painting the calipers again, tape a bin bag or 2 around it and rip a hole so only the caliper shows through. This makes it much easier to spray paint evenly without worrying about getting the paint on the rest of ur car

You can use tape to pull the center caps off . Look at putting a front splitter? Maybe m135 back section on the exhaust twin pipes .
If I can't take the wheels off then ill try the tape method, Ive got a new m sport rear bumper in this weeks video actually!
One thing I’ve done with my car which I’d suggest is invest in some copper grease, apply in where the wheel and break disk/hub meet it’ll prevent them seizing on and make it easier to get the wheels on and off in the future.

If I'm inspiring you mate then thats awesome, just go for it I say, start with something easy like the side indicators and go from there, you'll quickly get the hang of it and enjoy the hell out of it!!
Great stuff man! Keep it up. I have a 2001 Boxster S that I've been debating making videos on and you're definitely inspiring me. I have absolutely NO mechanical knowledge at all so would be interesting lol.
Thank you buddy, I would enjoy seeing a Boxster s with messed with. I say just go for it, ive got 0 experience or qualifications either, im just giving it all a go, but im glad im inspiring you mate!
For the rear it's 1 small bolt to rotate and slide the caliper off the bracket, literally more work to mask it and get the overspray off than remove it/the pads and paint it nicely.
Next step buy a wrench/spanner and use it, consider learning a bodywork skill like vinyl wrapping. Buy an ECU tuner and learn how to use it. Upgrade the suspension with some springs and sway bars.
For your stuck wheel soak it in penetrating oil, get the liquid version not the spray can to not get any on the rotor. Then hit it with your purse :)
If thats the case with the caliper then I should've just researched a bit deeper😂 thank you for the help mate, when I get the wheel off and do the other side, ill give a go at taking the calliper off and update in a video!
I definitely want to learn as many skills as possible as I want to do basically everything I can to my car myself as it seems more exciting than have someone else do it for me!

you remind me of old schol mighty car mods. I love it. Figuring out things yourself as you go is amazing.
One thing tho, you might wanna pop off the brake pads next time you paint. especially the front ones (as your car primarily brakes with them) Also tinting with a diy amazon tailight tint sheet is better than a rattle can. It helps u keep it shiny. Also stuck wheel stud, jsut get a big torque bar and maybe a metal 4 square then step on it and jump on it. ud be chillin

Ive got no experience of mechanics and no qualifications, just as you say learning as I go!
I think I might just pop the whole caliper off next time as it looks like it's just one or two bolts holding it on, so then I can properly paint it without getting it everywhere
If I can get a k24 and a workshop to swap it in then HELL YEAH
Give it some proper beans with car jacked up and axle stand under also - kicking each side whilst sat on the ground and it'll eventually come loose. Before you put the wheel back put a small amount of copper grease on the back of the wheel only the part that's in contact with the brake disc. You'll thank yourself later when the wheel has to come off again 👍

Leave a bolt in the wheel and spray some WD-40 where the wheel meets the hub, leave it for a few mins, can hit the tyre with a rubber mallet and kick it as well, should come out. When you re assemble make sure to put some brake grease on. Can get it from Euro car parts (Textar CERA TEC) put some on the face of the brake hub and on the little lip and the wheels will fall off next time you remove them.

Whit the wheel that wouldn’t come off once you remove the bolts. You will had to hit the tyre repeatedly untill it loosens its self
Working on cars for over 30years teaches you things.
You have to start somewhere and you are doing it.
Bit of advice DONT try to paint the rear bumper get the body shop to do it.
If you want to learn to paint things start smaller and paint regularly that way you will improve every time you paint something.
Try painting some small interior plastics first.
You will need plastic adhesive promotor and primer and paint and lacquer.
Watch dte tv on TH-cam if you want to learn to paint he’s done loads to show tips and tricks.
You will have to go through the videos and find them.

Im probably going to go through a proper spray on the bumper as Ive been told it's a nightmare to do myself.
Im planning on painting a few interior pieces next week so thats a good place to start I think!

and change all the rear bulbs to LED so people can still see ur lights save money instead of getting after market
The rear lights are visible through the tint so LEDs aren't necessary
