Great idea. I would be interested in how different woods compare. Easieat to work, prettiest, splits the least, hardest, best grain etc. For instance I have a piece of ivy to play with but it will be a while till i get to carve it, nof found anyone who has worked with it before

Woodcraft hamster very cool interesting video I'm playing about with my toys I won from you and making a thank you package too spoons I carved samples of olive branches to try carving and a diamond sharpening stone credit card size. Great to get razor sharp edge too and some other bits I hand crafted you will find useful 🐾🐺💕👌

Great idea, I am new to carving, and have only made three spoons so far. I have only one proper wood carving knife that I am dreading sharpening (any tips?).

Barry Hugo try a Gerber sharpening stick and DMT diamond sharpeners the Gerber sharpening stick is cheaper than DMT diamond sharpeners it depends on your budget both are excellent puts awsome edge than normal stones won't wear out being diamond👌😉💪🐺🐾
