If they don’t make a Scream Street x Lilybuds crossover I’m suing
This song will always be my “I’m gonna tell my kids this was Endgame” moment. I remember freaking out when this first aired live and saw Thomas and Roary on the same screen! 😅
Yeah
Those 2 needed a crossover real bad
How did Thomas travel to Silver Hatch without train tracks?
@@MemeWorksStudios By Lorry
Shame he got zero screen time tho
@@Neville_bear he is so kind
I wish that they put thomas in the final part like ik he can't move arms around but have his eyes roll around or something
I loved that scene on the beach where they’re all just waving their hands in the air while the Pinky Ponk is just flying over them
Even as an adult this blew my mind. Well done Peter.
Oh boy, I remember seeing this as a kid and being so confused yet so happy at the same time. Only thing that made me sad was that Thomas only got 5 seconds of screen time but other than that it was just beautiful
Still mad about that to this day
Plus, why did The Fat Controller only appear in the scenes of him eating?
@@-Moo-Moo-Man-it kind of fits his character and name! It is also pretty funny to me
I saw this when it aired, blew my mind seeing Trumptonshire characters on screen with all these modern cartoon characters singing One Day Like This
I remember when this came out I was 12. To me, it felt like all my early childhood characters were coming together one last time before my teenage years. Fun times!
I still remember watching this for the first time as a kid and the joy as each character I recognised joined the rosta! I'm glad your putting out videos again keep it up!
ah lucky! I wish younger me could've seen this, I would've been ecstatic lol
thank you btw ^^

I didn't see this until years later in 2022 and I was blown away. Seeing some of my favourite childhood shows is just insane. Though I felt like there were a few characters missing such as Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, the Mr Men and Little Misses, and etc
My favourite part in the video was Pingu rockin up to the last scene, this is one of the most nostalgic and memorable pieces of my life as I always used to dance and watch it in the early 2010s, I have always memorised every single piece of it and your reviews are usually good, and big surprise that I was impressed by the review, you pointed out everything I personally pointed out to myself (lack of Aardman, Raa Raa singlehandedly being there)
Overall a fun review to watch, good job :)
thanks so much for the support! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
I’m gonna say my favourite voice actors, during that time have to be:
1. Ringo Starr, even though he was difficult to hear).
2. Keith Wickham, because i like how he makes his voice sound different when voicing specific characters from different shows like, Toot The Tiny Tugboat, Jungle Junction, 64 Zoo Lane, etc. Like for example, Keith made his voice sound different when voicing one of the koala guys.
This is legit one of my favourite Children in Need moments and it really feels like both a fun celebration of beloved animated characters as well as a sort of swan song for certain characters.
Truly a ambitious animated crossover
Yep.
Meanwhile, in a Parallel Universe, can you ever imagine the World's reactions when we got to see Sora in this?
Admittedly, working for Disney can be an even harder challenge than doing the same with Warner Brothers, NBCUniversal, Sony and Paramount Global, but I can imagine the reactions where Disney and Square-Enix became courageously generous enough to bring on Sora as a part of the Special Collab.
This is the best crossover ever! I love seeing all these different British characters interact [I'm American but I grew up with airings of these shows on PBS, Sprout, Nick Jr, etc...], and I think the funniest part was when the Thunderbirds puppets were falling down and getting back up again during the song portion with all the guys singing. I actually like how some American cartoons like Spongebob and Scooby Doo were included, as it gives the video a theme of unity. TBH, I just love crossovers in general, but only if done right, and this one is THE BEST. NGL, I'd love to see a crossover movie with all these characters, especially the Thunderbirds, Bob The Builder, and Fireman Sam.
I first discovered this in 2015 as someone uploaded a very poorly recorded upload of it that wasn't blocked yet. But I watched it and I thought it was epic. Though, I was upset how Thomas didn't get that much screen time, but now, I realise that this isn't about Thomas, it's about everyone. I do wish characters such as Noddy, Aardman characters, Beano characters and probably more shows from CBBC and CITV around the time this came out. I also wish SpongeBob had a line, as it would be epic if Tom Kenny mentioned this at some event and people would see this and think it's great. Also, the guy on the drums is called Engie Benjy. The US kind of got something like this a few years earlier in 2005 called We are family, a musical message for all, but the crossover was honestly quite lazy as most of the characters who were in it were just clips from their shows, and there was only one song and only live action and puppet characters spoke. But this Children in Need music video puts that to shame.
I agree 100% A beano moment would be really cool, maybe they could've had a scene where dennis the menace and horrid henry interact, plus more cbbc/citv characters wouldn't hurt, spongebob having a line would've been great too (I mean if they could get shaggy's VA, why not Tom Kenny?) which is why I think they should make another one.
I checked out that we are family video and while the peter kay music video is obviously superior, that one was quite nice as well, but they should've had more characters singing.
Did you see that puppet music video they made for this years children in need? It had some puppets from Rainbow and CBBC, it was quite funny
@@PamsWorld101 I actually watched that puppet video and while it's not as good as the Peter Kay music video, it's still good, I like how Zig and Zag (two puppets that come fro my country) were in it. To be honest, I honestly feel like Noddy was planned for the music video (as he's so recognisable), but maybe they couldn't put him because of rights issues or maybe because Noddy hadn't been seen in stop-motion in years, so it would look strange to some. It was also strange to see characters like Thomas in his Series 12 look and Fireman Sam in his Series 5 look when the two shows had turned CGI, Sam even has his voice from the CGI series in the music video. I honestly wish they could do something like this again, with even more characters. Including the characters I perviously mentioned, but maybe the Tugs characters and Mr Men could also show up. Also, I know you consider this crossover canon, but while I think it's amazing, I just can't consider it canon as some of these characters are set in realistic worlds, such as Thomas. Also, I would honestly love a crossover of Dennis the Menace and Horrid Henry in general, and they could probably have a fight together.
@@JoshProductions07 I don't think noddy being in 3D would've been a set back, considering they got puppet models from really old series' like paddington to be in it, or they could have 3D noddy appear on a screen like they did with angelina. Its most likely to do with rights issues, that or they forgot him (which I doubt).
I'd love to see the tugs characters in a crossover as unlikely as that is (especially since the VAs would be way too old to do the voices), It was a missed opportunity that there was never a thomas and tugs crossover tbh, and yeah ik it being canon makes no sense but I'm sticking to my theory because its fun lol
@@PamsWorld101 Scooby, Shaggy and SpongeBob shouldn't have been in this crossover because they're not from the UK !
Saw this when it was first on when I was 10, I was already a fan of peter Kay and as a 10 year old, I loved a huge majority of these kids shows
I loved it back then and still do
Disappointed That Ringo Was The Voice Actor For Thomas Here Yet They Didn't Use Him for Hey Jude!
I’m surprised that character like Uncle Grizzly and the Mr. Men weren’t in there I mean both were iconic
TBH Uncle grizzly would've been too terrifying, plus I don't think they were able to get his model
as for mr men, yeah I agree
Agreed.
@@123emilymason
They could have just had Spindleshanks alone.
@@austinreed7343 yeah, Spindleshanks is a cute character and would've fitted in just fine.
Heck I wouldn't mind if thats where he was during season 5 and 6!
& Little Miss.
This was so cool to see back in 2009. I loved it so much. I am surprised that Doctor Who didn't make a brief cameo, especially with Peter Kay playing a character in it 3 years prior. Just the TARDIS flying by in the background of one shot could have worked pretty well.
And if only there's a sequel to this, then it would've worked.
Who had his own segments regularly, but since there were already some live action reps, he wouldn’t have been so bad as an inclusion.
8:16 Imagine Wallace singing though :P
it be hilarious lmao
Personally I would have loved to see characters from Little Red Tractor Tweenies The Fimbles and LazyTown appear in this music video.
@@harrisonchristie6783 LazyTown ain't British !
Neither is Ben 10, Scooby Doo or Sponegbob SquarePants.
8:11 I agree, I was hoping noddy and something related to aardman would show up
I remember when this came out me and my cousin played it non stop it brings back so many happy memories I wish they would do it again and in a way they did it u like puppets watch nothings gonna stop us
4:32 I really like Bob the Builder and Big Chris meeting each other as if this is Bob’s first time visiting somewhere outside his own universe.
9:33 Also, that looks like a series that should’ve had three seasons.
What connection does the 3 shows have, Bob the Builder, Roary the Racing Car and... the other, Fifi and her FLower Friends or smth... EXACTLY! Cars that can move on their own. and having mouths and eyes.
6:41 everyone except Thomas
Yeah and even the teletubbies
And Pudsey.
Idk why but I was really dissatisfied when I didn’t see Brum in this video and I wholeheartedly agree with you about a lack of aardman aswell as horrid Henry and Noddy
And around 2011 was when satellite dish’s were coming more accessible, TV Channels worldwide were coming together, so they maybe could’ve even added shows like Gumball, Fosters, Phineas and Ferb, Fairly Odd Parents
They could’ve even pulled out all the stocks and included shit like One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sonic X or Pokémon
But that’s just speculation, if I had the money to make another one of these today, I’d take as many leaps as I can to make it twice as much as the original offers
It wouldn’t just be another “Children in Need Medley” it would be something so much more, it would entertainment HISTORY
Overall I love that medley, it truly was the pinnacle of the times where I felt happiest
You know roary the racing car was huge in 2007 to 2010 it was soo popular I wish the show had a 5 seasons sad it ended in 2010 hopefully it will make a reboot someday
Oh my god the shows you said I can't believe they didn't include them now, ESPECIALLY WALLACE AND GROMIT!!
Because of well, apparently at Aardman's offices, one of their employees aren't ready for this. On the bright side, if it's all possible enough for the sequel, then it can happen.
THOMAS’ LITTLE WINK WITH RORY (also did you know that they’re on there together because they’re both number one?)
Scoop also had to be there, he is just rarely on every scene.
We NEED something like this again!
Yep. I can imagine the Day where Disney, Square-Enix and Erika Lynn Harlacher going onboard to do something with Kingdom Hearts for this because of well, why not?
And I felt like we need someone who can dressed up like Sora in this too because of well, we can strengthen the friendships of the British, Japanese and American people because of well, why not?
If Warner Brothers and Paramount Global are generous enough to have Shaggy, Scoob and Spongey to be in a little something for 2009, then why not? Erika has to be here, but cosplaying as Sora.
Because of well, Erika is a Kingdom Hearts Fangirl and so, I can imagine BBC being very willing to top themselves with their friends, once again.
For the Live-Acted parts, we need Erika Harlacher to cosplay as Sora in place of Big Chris.
Also, Why si only scoop, Bob, Spud and Wendy in there? AND HOW DID SPUD GO THERE, WITH TRAVIS? or just got a lift from one of the other characters? Also, I think Bob the Builder and Roary the Racing car series are tkaing place at the same universe, ALongside fireman sam, Postman pat and Fifi. And Engie benjy!
this was a big crossover for children of the UK
Or alternatively, a Charity-oriented British Who Framed Roger Rabbit of sorts.
I think I remember watching this as a baby or I was 5
4:02 The puppet on the right is Muffin the Muel. One of the oldest BBC Children's shows that ran from 1946 to 1955
I’m surprised that shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Total Drama, Fairly Odd Parents, Pokémon and The Simpsons didn’t appear in this song considering the fact that those shows were popular back in the day. I know SpongeBob did but I don’t know about the rest.
Spongebob actually appeared in the song as just a cameo from Big Chris' phone.
For some reason, Japanese shows/IP were left out. It was mostly the U.S. and UK, with the exception of Pingu.
A new version would probably throw in a couple of the Sonic characters, maybe a few others like Tanjiro or something too.
I feel like they should've had a Bear in the Big Blue House character appear in the video.
And even the Moon, imagine seeing that at the end of the music video rising up and singing behind them or something.
The aftermath of the music video:
Big Chris: great music video lads, but I feel like that i’m forgetting something.
Ted glen: well if you forgot something, it’s not important.
Big Chris: oh yeah, ted. You’re right!
(Meanwhile: season 1-5 Norman price, ten cents from tugs, Bertha from bbc Bertha, Theodore tugboat, Joshua Jones, Charlie chalk, wallace and gromit, the banana splits, the cattanooga cats, top cat and his gang, horrid Henry and the purple hand gang, brum, rosey and Jim, and morph were standing at the bus stop in the rain at night all wet looking disappointed)
Ten cents: well this sucks.
Fleegle: exactly!
All these shows need to combine together to make a big Island with all the shows sets from the shows
I remember when I first saw this music video back in 2009, it just blew my mind seeing loads of British children’s cartoon characters on screen together, and this was before I ever saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit so back then this was pretty much the the first ever crossover series I ever saw as a kid. Honestly I also think they should do a remake of this music video, but this time include a couple of modern British cartoons like The Amazing World of Gumball, Octonauts, Thunderbirds Are Go, Robozuna, Hilda, Dead End: Paranormal Park (yes it counts as a British Cartoon it was made by Blink Industries, which is located in London) etc.
If they like did The Little Red tractor and Numberjacks characters in here too, it would be great (Even though The Little Red Tractor was new and probably was made later and the Numberjacks already stopped making new episodes) still would be cool.
I just don’t remember Thomas being CGI
Fellow Caddicarus,Animation,Tugs Fan!
Peter may is pure genius!
If only horrid henry and noddy was in this

@@MuhammadisaNaseeb LOL
Wonderful video!! I’m still stumped about the ‘ten seconds = 6 days of animating’ progress 🤯 I really appreciate the effort the behind the scenes crew has put in the video!
I have so much to say so bear with me.
I too loved watching Little Robots when i was young, it’s really fun. IIRC, my country has this little segments with characters from tv shows (mostly Australian but they even got the ones from international shows too) and they did one with Tiny from Little Robots
Those 2d characters in 4:06?? The ones on the left are from Fluffy Gardens (which is very wholesome) and the ones on the right are the characters from a 2005 reboot called Roobarb & Custard Too (the og 1974 version is just called Roobarb). I seen those two shows in my country which is how I recognise them here lmao
Yeah, it’s kinda weird seeing the absence of Aardman characters in the music video since they hold a significant highlight in both stop motion and British pop culture(??). They should appear in it tbh
And yes yes yes, an official animation crossover with Scream Street please?? Imagine the possibilities on how they execute the gang (and the other characters) in the crossover. I feel like Six would be in the similar running gag with her being in two sides of the dance off lmao
Edit: also, 1:44 please 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Its incredible how much effort goes into stuff like this, and thanks for telling the names of the 2D shows, I'll be sure to check them out later.
I do hope they make another crossover like this, having the ScSt characters would be amazing like you said, and theres plenty more they could add as well
Btw the segment things you described sound really adorable, are there any uploaded to YT? Specifically the one with Tiny?
@@PamsWorld101 there is a video here with the Little Robots ABCKids indent! It was during 2004!
I could imagine having Danger Mouse in a crossover as well
The butternut squash looking man was Engie benjy, who was voiced by Dec from ant and dec 😂
Yep surprised at how few people now it
I used to watch Engie Benjy when i was little, i think i grew up a little bit in that Stop motion era and THomas' Model series, but i watched thomas in his CGI timeline.
We need more HiT character crossovers. Im sad we didnt get to see that
Because of Mattel.
I think the only thing that would make a crossover of this ambition even better is if Ten Cents and Sunshine made an appearance, as well as more obscure hand-drawn characters such as Foo Foo from Halas and Batchelor studios, or the Listerine Dragon and Cresta Bear from Richard Williams.
ooh some Halas and Batchelor stuff would be really cool seeing as they're really important to British animation history. Seeing how technology has improved since 2009 they could probably find a way to incorporate the 2D and 3D in the actual scenes to interact with the stop motion characters with greenscreens instead of just putting them on TVs, how cool would that be?
@@PamsWorld101 Of course! Another couple of British characters I've recently discovered are Bubble and Squeak, though they are very obscure and their films have been poorly preserved.
@@tobbs5410 oh wow it looks really interesting! Its a shame that the show wasn't preserved probably, lost media can be so sad sometimes 😔
@@PamsWorld101 You can actually watch all of the Bubble and Squeak cartoons here on TH-cam, though their quality is a bit rough around the edges.
@@tobbs5410 It would of been nice to have Ten Cents and Sunshine in it, but I'm pretty sure their models would be hard to find during 2009. Nowadays they would be easier to find as The Star Tugs Trust owns them.
Poor Chippy Minton or however you spell his name, I don’t know I haven’t seen every episode of Gordon Murray’s Children’s shows *Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Chigley which are all connected by the way*
Luckily I know all the characters you don’t know
The three puppets are Muffin the Mule and the Woodentops
The stop motion character playing the drums is Enjie Benjy
The red, pink and green characters are Small Green Thing, Paolo and Mavis from Fluffy Gardens
And the two cats raising their hands are Roobarb and Custard
thanks
BTW, you can’t have an All-Star band without Sarah and Duck, Fly-High and Huggy, Roly Mo and Queso
How did you didn't reckonise Muffin the Mule, Roobarb, Custard and Engie Benjy? *Plus Roobarb is a dog not a cat*
@@oscarotoole1163 the only characters i don't know was a puppet with blue glasses black sheos shirt and pant the other one thats a female with a pink car the puppet with brown clothes and the stop motion guy thats mix with a bee and a fly do you know them to?
Thanks for filling me in about Muffin the Mule. I've seen a lot of quirky kids characters but not that one.
If only Wallace and gromit were here
What about Shaun the Sheep?
I love it, loads of children’s show characters get together and all that. ✌️☺️
And what can be the icing of the Cake? I can imagine the entire Internet getting destroyed when they found out that Sora is going to be here, complete with Haley Joel Osment as him because of well, imagine how shocking can a moment like this coming to life.
@@maxleon61702 Well I mean all of the actual good children’s shows, mostly the classic ones. ✌️😙
@@danielpalmersofficial my mate, yep. It's a wholesomely enjoyable celebration of the best bits of British Children's Television with some American Guests. Meanwhile in an Alternate Universe, can you imagine the whole Internet losing their minds if they saw Sora in this get together moment?
@@maxleon61702 Wait, I’m sorry who’s Sora?? 😅😂
Shocked that Danger mouse didn't appear in this though
Might be late to the video but the end joke to big chris using sizzors is the giy now dances more feely if you see during the get knocked get up agin segment you see him dancing without strings
Holy cow, that's what I call the Mortal Kombat Armageddon of British Children's Entertainment (guest starring some peeps from Warner Brothers and Paramount Global/ViacomCBS into the mix).
Meanwhile in a perfectly balanced World, then can you ever imagine Sora from Disney and Square-Enix's Kingdom Hearts franchise showing up in this as a supremely stellar special Guest?
7:32 that image goes hard asf for no reason💫🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also, I just realised, they used the stop motion model for Sir Topham Hat ( aka: the character who kept eating donuts in this video) but in the scene where Thomas and Roary are right next to each other, they made Thomas with his CGI design! why not just use the stop motion design of Thomas like Sir Topham Hat
its actually a hybrid. The physical model is there, they just used CGI to animate his face so he could sing along
Ohhhh
I see people talking about other shows but I been thinking about why Chuck E. Cheese himself isn’t in this
Say what? He ain't gotten hismelf a show, better have Mickey Mouse added.
Ever since I first watched it, I’ve always wondered how Wendy and Spud get there. Scoop was the only machine in the video so I just wonder sometimes.
If some company or something something different but similar to this, I think they'll probably do a movie instead of a full music video, a movie about how or sometimes other cartoons and others really can do BIG THINGS.

My favourite part of this video is when the men were singing Tubthumping.
This is such an awesome crossover and I love a good crossover
No joke lost my poo when i saw Thomasand roary as ther my boys
My personal favorite scene is when The Thunderbirds keep falling down whenever the others are jumping during the battle between the boys and girls. It's super hilarious! I wish the Mr. Men and Little Misses were there, especially in that scene! I noticed your retrospective on the Mr. Men Show is gone, what happened?
4:03 That character is Engie Benjy, which I remember watching when I was little.
The good thing is they DID NOT put in TUGS.
Very shocking Noddy didn't appear, even idk if he is a BBC character.
My life will not be complete until I see Numberjacks getting into a crossover like this.
(I get it was never popular but let me have this one, okay?!?!?!)
maybe for this special children in need's 15th?
You forgot to mention about the pinky ponk.
This was another fantastic Peter Kay contribution to Children in Need that brought together characters from both sides of the Atlantic, be they from cartoon, puppet animations or live action. And it united characters from rival competing studios. I agree you with that it was wondrous, and, as a patriotic Brit, I am proud that it is a British idea mainly featuring British creativity. Also like you, I am stunned and moved that it took months to make.
In the face of this majesty and meaning, you should NOT use four-letter words, and all the more so as this is for kids, albeit kids of all ages, definitely.
You did observe the quality and meaningfulness and inspiring nature of the tunes selected for inclusion, and indeed many of these have DIVINE significance, because the Holy Spirit is active in our lives, of course is interested in noble human causes, and is delighted to cooperate with human creativity and genius.
I do not know if Peter Kay or anybody else sees it, but I do. As the piece goes on it does reach a crescendo of spiritual and divine meaning. In the middle we have that rivalry between "Jai Ho" and "You are my destiny", where Jai Ho means "Let there be victory" in Hindi, and is used for praise - "you are the reason that I still believe" ... as contrasted with the guys singing the macho "I get knocked down" (alias "Tubthumping" from Chumbawamba - the very phrase going back to the 17th-century non-comformist (bible-bashing) preachers assertively offering the word of God). The contrast is thus between more passive acceptance and a kind of "muscular Christianity" approach. We then get unity with "Never Forget", with Take That's moving and again spiritual lines about this soon being the dream for someone else (but not for us). From there we see Roobarb and Custard - a cat-and-dog pairing of friendly rivalry that just pursues a thick-but-active versus clever-cerebral narrative, even as the two animals are actually cousins (just like Jesus and John the Baptist). Wikipedia notes that: "Although malicious, Custard has been shown to care about Roobarb and has even helped him out a few times and enjoys his company. Examples include when he dressed up as Santa Claus for Roobarb's Christmas party to help save the day in case anything went wrong". From those two we go into na na na na na etc. from The Beatles. While that sounds like "no" or "nah", in Greek it means "nai" is yes, and in Hebrew "na" is used to plead for something to happen. This is associated here (and by the Fab Four) with the name of Jude - the Saint we call to for faith when all hope seems to be lost. Hey Jude was supposed to have been dedicated to Julian Lennon at the time of his parents' divorce (a classic circumstance of lost hope and faith for a kid). The shift of all the non-cartoon characters to the shore at sunset (!!!) is signalled as we witness the arrival from far away of Pingu the cheerful and good-hearted penguin (whose name means "the little hill"). We then immediately see some kind of wind-powered aircraft bring in the cast of "In the Night Garden" which gets a person of religious inclination thinking about the Garden of Gethsemane (on a hill), at which Jesus is betrayed and the scene is set for Crucifixion followed by Resurrection. The word gethsemane refers to the pressing of olives, which makes sense as that was the Mount of Olives outside Jerusalem. Big Chris then shows us Angelina Ballerina, who is therefore "the little dancing Angel". By this time the characters are singing (after Elbow), in chorus, for the curtains to be thrown wide - a deeply religious and spiritual sentiment. Big Chris shows us Sponge Bob, in a situation where the only reference to a sponge in The Bible is the sponge soaked with vinegar offered by the Roman Soldiers to mock the Saviour just prior to His death. We know from "Encylopaedia SpongeBobia" that the Latin Name for this kind of yellow sponge is Aplysina fistularis, where a fistula is a tube or made hole through which blood flows. Then Chippy Minton finally arrives - he is the Carpenter (like Jesus and his father Joseph)m and as he does we see a watchtower on a hill - the very symbol of being observant and watching for signs of God fulfilling biblical prophecy as well as to watch for the imminent return of Christ. The name Minton actually means "settlement on a hill"... Big Chris notes that the carpenter has made as they have finished. As well he might.
If you as if I think the BBC or even Peter Kay are sophisticated enough to achieve this level of meaning and significance, I do not.
But the Holy Spirit IS...

Fun little fact, for the Fireman Sam puppets, it appears that the team lost all the eyebrows for the characters, since they appear to be made last-minute

@@PamsWorld101 Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and SpongeBob shouldn't be here !
Nostalgia is nostalgic.
The house man is muffin the mule
Definitely one of the best children show crossovers. Though we have one in the states similar to this for the We Are Family Foundation. Though only doing one song instead, being the one that the foundation is named after. And not surprisingly inspired a whole lot of FMV music videos that used this soundtrack.
th-cam.com/video/KnD8BYjZiW0/w-d-xo.html
Plus it also includes SpongeBob, Koala Brothers, and Bob the Builder making cameos.
Plus I was surprised they didn't have Brum, or the Mr. Men and Little Missus. Or even any of the characters from famous British Literature. Like Wind in the Willows, Peter Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, or Winnie the Pooh. Though the latter might get easily mixed up with Pudsey Bear. At least We Are Family made up for it by having Pooh and Tigger appear.
I remember seeing this on TV and I thought it was amazing and yeah I agree with you on there needing to be a new one like this but who's to say they can't put in anime characters like Ash and Pikachu or maybe game characters like Mario and Sonic? This was definitely a great way for Casey Kasem to go out as Shaggy may he rest in peace, will they show the 2D characters on a screen like they did here or will they somehow manage to make it blend with the stop motion characters like Pat and Big Chris? Who knows, I don't watch much TV these days but I can't really see the BBC topping this anytime soon, this was also a very genius idea of Peter Kay
I still have the single from 2009. This blew the mind of 10 year old me.
Could you make a video about Roary the racing car? Your one off comment in your Tugs video made me watch it and I really really liked it, I even made a roary YTP on my second channel for god sakes

If thye di this again then is want to see Brum and Little red tractor in it.
You know what, I actually don't want a sequel to this, but maybe a theatrical film. Like just imagine if all of these characters appeared in one movie. It would be like a British version of Roger Rabbit.
that would be really cool but the chances of that happening is extremely low, a music video is more likely, or even a TV special
@@PamsWorld101 yeah probably. But it's still amazing that this happened, and that all these companies agreed to allow their characters to be used. Though I feel like the reason why all the companies agreed was because it was for Children in Need.
There's a bit of irony in that statement, given that a good 90% of the animation done for Roger Rabbit was completed in Camden.
@@tobbs5410 that's probably because Roger Rabbit was made in the 1980s. Technology has really improved since then and live action cartoon hybrid aren't a rare thing anymore.
@@JoshProductions07 I don't see what that necessarily has to do with the animation being done in North London. My comment was in response to somebody describing an idea as 'a British Roger Rabbit', but Roger Rabbit was very much British to start with.
