There was a lot of talk at the time about the touching, because there are rules/codes of conduct clearly stating that touching is not allowed. Zekka and Colaps were already friends before this battle and Zekka later on apologized for his behavior, so they are cool about it. I'm not 100% sure about the details but that's the gist of it! Also, I'm fairly sure that the judging system is somewhat similar to what you mentioned at around 13:30. Not sure what the actual categories are, but basically Musicality, Technicality, Originality, Performance and Engagement.
There is no such thing as Engagement, plus for battles there arent rlly points, its rlly just based on the judges feelings and how they look at it, yes they can do points but its probably just in their heads to decide the winner
@@Kazilla. well thats why theyre judges :) They have enough experience to judge battles even without having to write down points There are points for wildcards judging and eliminations as well (most of the time). Wildcards are vids that ppl upload to get chosen into a competition, for example before gbb a wildcard competition happened and everyone uploaded like a 2 min vid and the top x people got chosen and eliminations are like solo rounds to determine who the top 16 of the battles are and the seeding of them, so ya, they usually use points for wildcard and eliminations, it depends on the competitiont tho, different organizations have different takes on this
