You often see comments to the effect of “don’t ship it makes the members uneasy “ and when I was new to learning about shipping it did make me pause and wonder if we were causing harm. I think V has made it pretty clear he doesn’t want it but in all the videos ( and I’m talking the full source videos) I have never seen Jikook say anything to indicate they don’t like it or they want it stopped, even in a subtle way. I think if they said don’t do it like V did the majority of us would respect that and stop. For Jikook it is almost the opposite they drop soooo many hints for us to say they are a couple, like Lily pointed out in the video. I think the term supporter is more appropriate for what we do and we keep it up so that they (and the industry and maybe even society) can see that it won’t cost them fans and hurt the other members if Jikook ever chose to come out publicly ( and if they don’t that is also their choice and we still support them). I think the people who say shipping is making Jikook uncomfortable it is actually making them personally uncomfortable and they need to do a little soul searching as to why that is and it is based on non acceptance of the LGBTQ2S+ community then you need to work on becoming more accepting of other peoples rights to live their lives as they choose. 🌈

They don’t have to prove anything to you to maintain their support. Just because people are not together all of the time doesn’t mean there is a problem.
They don’t need a global spotlight on the nature of their relationship. It will cause problems for all of the members. People are not as accepting of same sex relationships as some of you may think.

I will always stick by the fact that the stares, touches and emotions between Jikook do not happen with the other members. Jikook always gravitate to one another no matter who they start out sitting or standing by. If Taekook were real then Tae would not be letting JK hang all over JM and vice versa. Jikook gives us every hint possible they are together.
