7 years and this still hits me. The fact that they cried and this cheerful songs suddenly became a ballad is enough to make me cry as well while watching this. Especially Taeyeon and Tiffany's high notes and the "Saranghae" part. Though i didn't manage to be part of their journey since i'm a new SONE still i know that the way they sing this song is really sad. Even if it's impossible i still hope that these girls will be complete once again.

It's ironic how this song used to represent their journey as a rookie before, 9 young girls trying to make it through the harsh industry of kpop and when they perform this song without jess after she left, somehow it gave a new meaning, a journey of each member as an individual going for their dreams as a grown up woman. But this is just beautifully painful to watch.

I am a SONE since 2010 and just turned 30 last week. I'm currently working rn. I'm a teacher and while on lunch break I watched a reaction video to this performance and I cried AGAIN. I had to lock my classroom, turn off the lights, hopefully no one disturbs me while I cry my heart out, playing this video again and again til it's time to work again. Girls' Generation has been with me since my college years, Jessica's departure happened during my first year as a teacher, and here I am now. Still a SONE supporting both SoShi members and Jessica Jung with all my heart.

I can clearly see Taeyeon's tears because some of her face was shiny at the camera. She was holding her tears because as a leader, she doesn't want to show her weakness in front of her members because it may burden them. If you guys think they were faking it, why would they? The company clearly doesn't want any conversation and connection between Sica and the 8 remaining girls so why would SM ask the 8 girls to cry their lungs out because of Sica? I always cry watching this performance. The memory kicked in and it broke my heart. I rmb vividly the news broke out on my graduation day and I thought it was just a prank, I wished it was April fools but it was not... then the next day, the girls had to perform without her. If we're the fans who felt this much emotion, imagine how they felt... it's been so many years and I am so proud of them. I am still a sone after 15 years, I am still here with them.
The fact that they made a special space for Jessica touches my heart, then they all compress that indicate that they're just 8 now and will work harder to show us more in the future. Not 8, not 5, but 9. Girls Generation will always be 9.

Hello Sones, BlackJack here... some of you older fans might remember the constant fandom fights between us. ''2NE1 ARE QUEENS'' ''NO SNSD ARE!'' and to be honest I used to say these things too. But when I've heared the news about Sica leaving SM , I just couldn't believe it. And after watching this video 3 years ago, I cried soo much. I thought about the girls, being a decade in a band, always together.. I know not all of them were best friends but I'm sure that being together, 'survivng' black ocean, being on the top, had a bonding effect. I could talk about this for hours, but I won't since I'm crying like a dumbass again. It's just heartbreaking to see so many bad things happening in the kpop world. We all know it's not always super perfect for them, they're training very hard but I guess the majority are doing this because they love music. Now, seeing all those AMAZING bands disband, I can just say that we should have appreciated them more. It's too late, generations are ending, bands are becoming history. So for the future: Please. Don't. Hate. I know it's hard to find something 'good' for one's personal interests nowadays where nearly 10 new groups are debuting with the same concept every week. But hey in the end they're all giving us the music that is in our hearts. I know for sure that kpop has changed or saved so many lifes. I am thankful and proud to say that I love it. Long and steep road they went through, ups and down they had experienced, and ultimately become no 1 girlgroup at that moment (until now maybe :D). Plus the song itself has the meaning of the journey to achieve our dreams together with everyone we love, and they have their loving and loyal fans, who always be by their side no matter what, and the girls is touched by it. So it was kind a like happy/emotional touched crying

I am a SONE since 2010 and just turned 30 last week. I'm currently working rn. I'm a teacher and while on lunch break I watched a reaction video to this performance and I cried AGAIN. Girls' Generation has been with me since my college years, Jessica's departure happened during my first year as a teacher, and here I am now. I can clearly see Taeyeon's tears because some of her face was shiny at the camera. She was holding her tears because as a leader, she doesn't want to show her weakness in front of her members because it may burden them. If you guys think they were faking it, why would they? I always cry watching this performance. The memory kicked in and it broke my heart. I rmb vividly the news broke out on my graduation day and I thought it was just a prank, I wished it was April fools but it was not... then the next day, the girls had to perform without her. If we're the fans who felt this much emotion, imagine how they felt... it's been so many years and I am so proud of them. I am still a sone after 15 years, I am still here with them.
The fact that they made a special space for Jessica touches my heart, then they all compress that indicate that they're just 8 now and will work harder to show us more in the future.

Bigbang may be the one who made the biggest/most money, record sales and sold out concerts in history, but it's Girls' Generation that have captured everyone's heart and instill to their hearts and mind the beauty of the Korean culture. It's really disappointing that groups nowadays almost never have full harmonies with eachother. Nowadays it just seems like each member gets their turn with the mic and then the next, never really harmonizing or singing together. Thats 1 things SNSD always was able to do, and it was beautiful. Hello Sones, BlackJack here... some of you older fans might remember the constant fandom fights between us. ''2NE1 ARE QUEENS'' ''NO SNSD ARE!'' and to be honest I used to say these things too. But when I've heared the news about Sica leaving SM , I just couldn't believe it. And after watching this video 3 years ago, I cried soo much. I thought about the girls, being a decade in a band, always together.. I know not all of them were best friends but I'm sure that being together, 'survivng' black ocean, being on the top, had a bonding effect. I could talk about this for hours, but I won't since I'm crying like a dumbass again. It's just heartbreaking to see so many bad things happening in the kpop world. We all know it's not always super perfect for them, they're training very hard but I guess the majority are doing this because they love music. Now, seeing all those AMAZING bands disband, I can just say that we should have appreciated them more. It's too late, generations are ending, bands are becoming history. So for the future: Please. Don't. Hate. I know it's hard to find something 'good' for one's personal interests nowadays where nearly 10 new groups are debuting with the same concept every week. But hey in the end they're all giving us the music that is in our hearts. I know for sure that kpop has changed or saved so many lifes. I am thankful and proud to say that I love it. We have so many amazing people , so many amazing idols on board. Jonghyun is already preparing kpop in heaven, since we all gonna end up there one day. Sorry for overreacting but I wanted to share my thoughts. Spread love ♥
