Fun! I loved your aluminum tree‼️‼️‼️
Thank you! 🤗 Me too!!! Cheers!
One more thing. 😅 sorry, But mama went through a stage where she would set up 3 ir 4 trees. 1 of them was called her Music Tree. All ornaments were musical instruments and anything else related to music. She had made some fans out of pages from an old torn up hymnal. She used something that made the paper really thick...maybe hodpodge? It was a gorgeous tree. Sure wish I had those ornaments now. ❤❤
Woah that sounds AMAAAAAAAZING! What a great idea! We can't have multiple trees cos our house is TINY. Unfortunately!!!!! Hugs. xo
I am SO THANKFUL for this video! I have so many of those collectible ornaments and just considered them “old ornaments from grandma”.
What a wonderful Christmas blessing to share your decor collection with us 🎄. I feel so festive now ✨👏👏👏 🎉
Thanks Debra!!! Christmas is an exciting time of year. Hugs!!!! 🤗
🎄🌟Helloo Sandra, your Christmas tree is Fabulous, all of the Beautiful ornaments, the peacock birds, cardinal 🙏🏼sequins, and spinners are so cool, hot totty the knee huggers, ladybugs, I love the 🎅🎅 Santa's , the crescent moons 🌙 even a human brain. omgosh your mantle, the cool ornament on the far left 🎉I bet you and your husband had so much fun decorating the tree together ❤ both of you did such a Wonderful job, your entire house looks Fantastic, Sandra 🎁
❤Merry Christmas 💚
We did have fun decorating!! Thanks for watching!!! Hugs.
15:10 , What you said looked like a dead deer in Santa's knapsack, I think is actually the head of a hobby horse and a couple of teddy bears and a blue clowns head is probably a jack-in-the-box toy. ❤
Yes, probably. Your way is much less morose haha! I just find it a bit creepy, especially for a kids thing. Surprised the designer didn't want to make items that were "smiley" and friendly, instead of a deer head with a limp blue tongue dangling from his mouth and two dead looking bear heads. I guess I'm a too harsh critic LOL!!!!!! Thanks for watching, much love. Sandra.
Sandy, I just wanted to tell you how blessed you are to have a husband who will let you enjoy all your pretties. My hub is such a grinch, and for years has secretly given my stuff away behind my back..😪🎄💕🙏
Oh no, that is NOT good! So sorry to hear that. My husband says I have WAY too much Christmas stuff, and I happen to agree! But he respects my love for it. I got rid of a bin or two this year (donated to the Salvation Army store) and will keep working on paring down the collection. I was surprised how much he actually enjoyed listening to Christmas music and decorating the tree with me. I let him choose some of the ornaments, which he enjoyed. He is retired now so has the time to do more fun stuff with me. Nobody's marriage is perfect , including ours, but I got a good guy for sure. Sending hugs! Sandra
Merry Christmas to you, Hubby and Mom !! May all your dreams be filled during this Holy time of year !!!❤🎄🎄✝️✝️✝️💕🙏🙏🙏
Same to you! Thanks so much! xoxoxo
Thanks for inviting us in and sharing. Ooohhh, that chipmunk ornament - we have a couple living in our yard and we leave them treats and sit in our sunroom in the morning with our coffee and watch them. That was so fun, Sandra! Merry Christmas!
Thanks! They are so cute!!! Merry Christmas!
Somehow you can train chipmunks to eat out of your hand.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Beautiful Holiday Spirit. Hello and God Bless You 'All.😊
Awww thank you!!!! 😊
Thanks for sharing your decorations; your tree is so fabulous!
Thanks for watching!! Hugs!
Love the owl
28:10 That sequined ornament lets me know now what all those sequin pins were for in my late mother’s crafting supplies.
34:59 Those bells are so cool!
Oh Sandra , those aluminum round ball ornaments would look great on a ‘vintage aluminum’ silver tree! Thanks ! Great collection.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
YES! I'll try to get with a different tree theme next year! Maybe groovy, WWII and antique!!!! Oh and QUIRKY (squirrel in his underpants and the BRAIN HAHA)! Hugs, SANDRA xoxo
Indeed!!! xoxo
Wesołych Świąt i szczęśliwego Nowego Roku!
Same to you!!!
6:16 If there is a hole in the bottom foot of that Santa, it goes on a platform of a plastic wreath.
9:42 Thank you for explaining the Shiny Bright ornaments being for a feather tree. I have Shiny Brights and a feather tree, so I will be sure to keep them together.
Glad I could help!
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Peace and well being to momma!
Same to you. Thank you!
30:25 YEP. My grandmother made one of those.
fantastic!!
Thank you! Cheers!
I love the birds! I had a huge bird collection and I accidentally left at my ex's house when I moved out. You have some really great ones there!
Sorry about that. Thanks for watching. oxoxox
Dead deer head, lol that is what it looked like. And that made me laugh and laugh. Maybe it was a horse head on a stick like kids used to play with years ago lol.
It must’ve been that! But it ended up looking a bit weird for sure haha! 😂 thanks for watching !!
Really enjoyed all your ornaments! I recognized at least 10 vintage glass ones that we had on our tree. We also had a pink spinner exactly like your yellow one. Nice memories! Have a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year!
Oh wow! So glad it brought back memories from days gone by. Merry Christmas to you as well!!!! xoxo
I have some antique ornaments. Vintage ornaments and the birds. I clip all mine on 😂.
Love that! I need to get all the birds on one box, they are scattered about. CHEEEEEEEERS!!!!! xoxox
Merry Christmas !
Merry Christmas to you too!!🎄
Sounds like you have a happy life, that's a rare thing npw a days,i found some ww2 antique Christmas ornaments from a very small town 2 nd hand shop very old and rare.ZLove them eo very much
My life is completely normal and average. Some good days, some bad days, some boring days! I try to make the best of everything and have loads of laughs and silliness when I can! Not always possible as you know. Some things just suck (illness, loss, etc.). Love ya!!!! Congrats on the ornament score! YAY!
Im surprised you dont have any ww2 Christmas puntz houses,oh i do see a puntz house in your tree your decorating is gorgeous i love everything.❤
I do have a putz or two. I sold a bunch of them a few years back. I had a whole village! xoxox
I had to look up “puntz houses”, and to my surprise I have many puntz houses. They are included as part of a village set from my grandparents who were Pennsylvania Dutch (a.k.a., German).
P.S. the tree topper has been lite 🎉 the bells 🔔 🔔🔔🔔are hanging, Angel 😇 but no pickle on the tree, unless I missed it , whoever finds the pickle on the tree on Christmas morning, it says will get good fortune, or a special treat / present 🎁
xoxo❤xoxo 💚🌟
The Christmas pickle I think was originally a German tradition and we hide it every year, but hubby either forgot to do it, or hid is VERY well! We do it every year. If it's not there, it's too late now. We put the stack of bins back in the attic! haha. xoxoxo
@TheFunkyPickleThrifter LolLol Sandra, yes, originally a German tradition, I knew you would know all about the pickle, 🩵Funky Pickle💜
Your living room looks very cozy and perfect 🎅Santa's going to be happy to see your all of your beautiful decorations, some from long ago, don't forget to leave him, some cookies & milk 🎁🎄🌟✝️
Merry Christmas 💚 ❤️
There's never putting enough ornament on my tree,❤
So true. We usually load it up, but are overwhelmed with all the stuff we need to do!!!! xoxoxox
24:23 I didn’t know the pipe cleaner ornaments I have are something good.
They stopped making the heavy ‘lead filled ‘icicles’ in the 70’s . Do you collect. I loved how they hung on the tree in the ‘old days’! So beautiful. Now they’re cheap cellophane. I don’t bother with those at all .
I think those icicles were absolutely gorgeous, but I would only use those if I have real tree. They're really hard to take them down. I do find a box or two of the old icicles from time to time and sell them on my ebay page. I haven't bought any lately tho. I do love 'em!!! xoxoxo
I have a few of those lady ornaments.i think they are from Neiman Marcus.
The hoochie mamas? LOL! They are beautiful and we love them. I got mine at thrift stores through the years. Might have paid $5 for them. I love them !!!! xoxoxo
17:42 What do you mean “un-silvered one”?
Silver nitrate was needed during WWII, so Christmas ornaments stopped using that technique!
What were those 2 Santa called...Alister?
Harold Gale I think? Thanks for watching.
It is a tinsel
Ok 👍
24:00 Are you sure those scary ornaments are being turned around by your husband…👻
Aaaahhhh hahahahahaha 😂
There's never putting enough ornament on my tree,❤
AGREEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!! haha
