Y'all think that a banshee witch that threw a hissy fit because she couldn't finish/torture Arthas, burned down Teldrassil to prove a useless point and now abandoning the Horde because she got roasted by Saurfang, will be a savior? You'd guess that someone who was once ranger general of Silvermoon that survived and witnessed many terrible fates would've fucking learned by now to team up with both Horde & Alliance to stop the travesty of N'zoth's release from happening. This looks more like a power-grab since she aligns herself with Azshara & the darkness of the Old Gods. It is my belief that Sylvanas didn't send him so much as to get close to proudmoore but to get him connected to Calia Menethil. That through Derek Sylvanas plans to manipulate her.

I followed Sylvannas back when she represented the best shot at lasting peace for the Horde and the Forsaken. Now she betrayed both - I'm done helping her. It's all spywork now.
Sylvanas' story is one of the most tragic, saddest ones of the Warcraft lore. Killed in battle, failed to defend is home, resurrected and tortured by her killer, her revenge stolen, deprived of everything that made her keep going on to the point of comitting suicide.... and that failed too. What happened when she was dead in Icecrown? What bargain did she made?
Ultimately, Sylvanas did not disappoint. She loathed the Horde and had her own agenda. Surprised? Sketchy writing prevailed. Anyone remembering when Sylvanas was still a great character? .
She has such an awkward character development. In the past she literally did nothing except chill in the sewers of Lordaeron's ruins, she hated her undead state but couldn't end her own unnatural existence because she wanted to avenge herself and the people of Quel'thalas that were butchered at the hands of Arthas (who in the game sends his horse to beat you up for some reason). When she found out she was no match for the Lich King, she ran away like hell on wheels only to come back and throw a tantrum in front of the Frozen Throne after someone else killed the Lich King for her. She even tries to become immortal as to avoid ending up in the void again and no one would be around to revive her again (a stupid scene where Genn could have killed her but decided to start yelling, give away his cover, take an arrow to the neck and steal a shiny lamp to play a prank over claiming proper vengeance). When she tried to kill herself she ended up in the void where there was nothing but silence and stillness while being conscious. So she got scared and wanted to live again and it was convenient since the Val'kyr were unemployed after the Lich King was dead and needed someone to boss them around. And by magic and five seconds spent in the void, she became some kind of badass that managed to intimidate Garrosh with a simple stare (which I call bullshit on) and started to give more value to the Forsaken. And now she wants to do what exactly? Plunge the entire world into undeath and rule over everyone like the Lich King would have? I can't help but feel proud of my "Lich Queen" prediction so many years ago that people ignored or dismissed.

SaurFAG (not a typo) was right for 1 thing - he never had any honor.The armies that walked the Path of Glory were the true Horde. I'm just disappointed he didn't suffer more before he died, because there can be no mercy for traitors. I all could've ended right after Sylvanas gave orders to burn the tree. He could've challenged her to a mok'gora right there or before the siege of Undercity. But no - he didn't have an Alliance army on his side then. His death would've been meaningless if nobody saw it as a "grand sacrifice". Sylvanas has a grander scheme that has yet to unfold, and I'm sure all the hate she's getting is as intended by Blizz, because she's the gamechanger this expansion.

I think some people might be taking the whole "N'Zoth will serve Death" thing a bit too literally (saw at least 2 videos mention it). I don't think Sylvanas plans to enslave him. I think she just means he's going to kill a lot more people, which seems to be her primary goal: As many deaths as possible.

Y'all think that a banshee witch that threw a hissy fit because she couldn't finish/torture Arthas, burned down Teldrassil to prove a useless point and now abandoning the Horde because she got roasted by Saurfang, will be a savior? You'd guess that someone who was once ranger general of Silvermoon that survived and witnessed many terrible fates would've fucking learned by now to team up with both Horde & Alliance to stop the travesty of N'zoth's release from happening. This looks more like a power-grab since she aligns herself with Azshara & the darkness of the Old Gods.

Sylvanas' story is one of the most tragic, saddest ones of the Warcraft lore. Killed in battle, failed to defend is home, resurrected and tortured by her killer, her revenge stolen, deprived of everything that made her keep going on to the point of comitting suicide.... and that failed too. What happened when she was dead in Icecrown? What bargain did she made?

She has such an awkward character development. In the past she literally did nothing except chill in the sewers of Lordaeron's ruins, she hated her undead state but couldn't end her own unnatural existence because she wanted to avenge herself and the people of Quel'thalas that were butchered at the hands of Arthas (who in the game sends his horse to beat you up for some reason). When she found out she was no match for the Lich King, she ran away like hell on wheels only to come back and throw a tantrum in front of the Frozen Throne after someone else killed the Lich King for her. She even tries to become immortal as to avoid ending up in the void again and no one would be around to revive her again (a stupid scene where Genn could have killed her but decided to start yelling, give away his cover, take an arrow to the neck and steal a shiny lamp to play a prank over claiming proper vengeance).
When she tried to kill herself she ended up in the void where there was nothing but silence and stillness while being conscious. So she got scared and wanted to live again and it was convenient since the Val'kyr were unemployed after the Lich King was dead and needed someone to boss them around. And by magic and five seconds spent in the void, she became some kind of badass that managed to intimidate Garrosh with a simple stare (which I call bullshit on) and started to give more value to the Forsaken.
And now she wants to do what exactly? Plunge the entire world into undeath and rule over everyone like the Lich King would have? I can't help but feel proud of my "Lich Queen" prediction so many years ago that people ignored or dismissed.

SaurFAG (not a typo) was right for 1 thing - he never had any honor.The armies that walked the Path of Glory were the true Horde. I'm just disappointed he didn't suffer more before he died, because there can be no mercy for traitors. I all could've ended right after Sylvanas gave orders to burn the tree. He could've challenged her to a mok'gora right there or before the siege of Undercity. But no - he didn't have an Alliance army on his side then. His death would've been meaningless if nobody saw it as a "grand sacrifice". Sylvanas has a grander scheme that has yet to unfold, and I'm sure all the hate she's getting is as intended by Blizz, because she's the gamechanger this expansion.
