Experimental Verification of NOT gate (Basic Logic Gate)

In this video you can learn, how to arrange the circuit for NOT gate and can verify its truth table. The precautions need to be taken are as follows:
As we are short-circuiting the battery, so don't keep the switch in ON position for longer period of time. Otherwise the battery will be completely discharged.
DON'T USE Li-ion battery and Ni-Cd battery for this circuit.
DON'T USE AC to DC adapters for this purpose.
You can use low energy density battery like lead-acid battery or normal pencil battery (AA battery).
Don't touch the wire while the switch is closed(ON) because of heating effect you may burn your fingers.
