hayasaka's situation is definitely understandable. Kaguya points out that they have a sisterly relationship, but it's also one where Hayasaka is subservient to Kaguya and has to do what she says. Sometimes Kaguya treats her as a sister and a close friend as she talks about her love life, but other times she commands her to carry out some of her plans, like with making her go to the group date thing. Kaguya even talks about how she wouldn't feel safe going to one, before immediately sending Hayasaka to go in her stead (not only that, but Hayasaka then gets hit on by a pretty forward guy which could've gotten really uncomfortable if it weren't for Miyuki). I can kinda understand why she gets sick of it all and wanted to do something that'd make Kaguya think twice about ordering her to do something like that
20:17 - In manga character profile for Ai Hayasaka, it is mentioned how Kaguya and Ai were raised together for a little while as babies (since Kaguya's own mother died when she was young). Mama Hayasaka was Kaguya's wet nurse. Then Kaguya left to main house, and they were reunited at later age for Ai as a servant.
In Japanese, people will say someone's voice is "big" as a way of calling them loud. So that little Hayasaka bit doesn't make as much sense in English.
The ending is a reference to the Princess Kaguya story that Miyki and Kaguya talk about on the roof top in season 2. How Princess Kaguya was taken off to the moon but left behind an elixir of immortality for the man she loved. In the actual story the man doesn't take the elixir. But Miyuki said if it was his story he would've drank the elixir and taken Kaguya back no matter how long it took. As we see he drinks it at the start of ED as Kaguya's being taken away to the moon in an airship, when he drinks it he's in a time period where planes are made out of wood but he waits for centuries until spaceships and futuristic technology exist which allows him to go to the moon to save Kaguya. It's also a follow up of the first season ED where pilot Miyuki and Angel Kaguya flew around together. It's extra cute because in the season 1 ED it's Kaguya dreaming of Miyuki saving her and in the season 3 ED it's Miyuki dreaming of saving Kaguya. Miyuki waking Kaguya up with a hand on her shoulder and Kaguya waking Miyuki up with a poke on his cheek.
The movie has already released in Japan, not sure when it will be hitting the States, as far as season 4 they left a couple of hints in the final episode of this season regarding season 4 with a couple shots of 4s taking place. So season 4 will happen, just not sure when, and there hasn't been an "official" announcement.
it's going to be out in February. Season 4 I don't know. But the good thing there is enough material here to go for another 3 seasons. The movie ends at chapter 160. There are 281 chapters in the manga. so counting 36 to 39 chapters in 12 to 13 episodes. That's more than enough to keep this going on for a while.
