Yep, this is as perfect as it gets. The only thing that you could maybe improve on would be the piano in the intro (maybe use a different VST or use other settings on the plugins from the effects rack on the mixer), but I personally see it as a minor thing. Other than that it is flawless! This really is the best remake imo. :)
It's an awesome remake! That one thing that has been lacking from the beginning is that you don't use the velocity controls for the piano sounds, in both the intro and the outro. This is clearly heard after the intro, when it's mostly just chords (and Iselin singing). It's quite loud there... Also, as the song gets Faded out, the velocity of the piano keys also need to be Faded out.
There are quite some differences obviously, original is much more professional sounding cause of Mood Melodies and Jesper Borgen (Alan's co-producers) and ofc also Alan made some sounds of his own.

99% accurate, however for the piano tho, you should use The giant piano from kontakt and select the preset called 'emotional'. Thats the exact one which Alan had used in Faded.
I watched a video demoing all the different presets and that does actually sound like the faded piano :o too bad I don't have kontakt or any of that lol
How to make the drop accurate: 1 - assign leads, chords to their own mixer channels 2 - route all of their mixer channels to 1 mixer channel 3 - in the mixer channel where everything is routed in, add Kickstart or any sidechain plugin, and then add reverb after it, leave the reverb at the default preset. For bass just assign it to it's mixer track which is not routed to the other mixer track where everything except the bass is routed, then on it's mixer channel, just add another Kickstart or any sidechain plugin and select the same sidechain pattern.
There's still one more thing you can do, you can download stems you will make your remake more accurate. Btw this remake is very very accurate, Triangle Alliance has downloaded stems including Acapella and used them in his 4th and last remake of Faded by Alan Walker.
