actually he was born in the same town as michael caine. he was a cockney like michael caine. Charlie taught himself to speak like an english gentleman as he grew up and his movies matured and became famous. wow what a man! I think in movies only michael caine could speak like he does in any movie and get away with it.

J'admire son courage et son talent pour en arriver là ! Charlie Chaplin est unique 👍 j'ai compris depuis longtemps que c'était une personne qui fût mûre avant l'âge, du fait de son enfance difficile, Quels magnifiques studios !! Il le méritait bien avec tout le travail qu'il a produit et réalisé .. BRAVO notre Charlot au grand coeur ❤ Son Manoir est aussi exceptionnel en Suisse !!!
