I’ll definitely be getting the Series 7. By pure coincidence, my OG Apple Watch, which I’d had for a little over five years, literally fell apart a week or so before Apple announced the Series 7.
I hope it’ll work with my tattoos. I had to return the series 6, and keep my 5, cause the 5 has a different sensor setup, that works just fine with my tattoos.
Personally I'm glad they had their mishap with the exterior design of the apple watch given the boxy design looked to uncomfortable compared to the rounded sides
You reviewers kill me, the screen is not that much bigger, if you have a series 5 or 6 stick with it until next year and I keep hearing about better durability, but yet there is not one video proving that point.
it's an expensive watch, what's with the need of upgrading every 2, 3 years tho? It basically does 95% of the same stuff. Ain't it good to just get one watch and then replace the battery down the road like any other classic watches? Save the planet and save your wallet.

Nice video comparison. Is it better to get Cellular or Bluetooth with these Apple Watches? If you do use Cellular does calling drain faster the battery compared to wifi/Bluetooth calling?
One thing to consider about the chargers and having separate chargers for your watch and phone would be using the MagSafe Duo Charger. I can charge my watch and my phone on the same charger. I can even charge my AirPods on the MagSafe Duo Charger. It also charges everything really quick.
Conclusion bigger screen by 1 mm and couple of faces .. New C type charger ... new colors .. that's it... inshort both are almost same inside Hardware .. only screen size and brighter...

Keeps saying the watch batter is a day and a half but in the same breath says it’s an 18 hour battery. So which is it? Is it 36 hours or 18 hours? If it’s 18 hours, that’s only about 6 hours better than my current series 2. That being said, I’d gladly take the extra 6 hours but I’d like to know if it’s a day n a half or just 18 hours.
It won’t be substantial imo, especially if you’re having to ask as I guess that means there isn’t any particular upgrade that you desperately want. I have series 5, waiting for series 8 to upgrade.

if this is your very first apple watch, then i think its a good choice. I have a series 3 & i have the series 7 on the way as well. I think this upgrade is also good for me as the watches last very long so having a new one every year doesnt make sense to me.
@@verseone Thanks. Though never having been an AW owner, I think you must be right. It will be interesting to see what next year’s AW upgrade brings. A boxy iPhone design wouldn’t excite me but a two to three day battery life (or less so, a 30-40 mins zero to full charge) would. However, I guess most people have adjusted to daily charging and for most of us who are not travelling without daily access to a power source, a two to three day battery life extension wouldn’t be so revolutionary. Meaning that if that is what the AW8 brings, I wouldn’t feel the need to upgrade. Even with blood sugar (?) monitoring added, not being diabetic I wouldn’t see that as a must-have addition and anyway, as with the ESG and blood oxygen monitoring, the AW isn’t a medical device and so if you’re a diabetic (or concerned about that) I’m not sure you’d feel you had to get a new AW because it offers you that data.

Yes and no. It depends on what you want in a smartwatch. Does it have the best app selection and best ecosystem integration? Yes. Does it have the best aesthetic? I would say no. Does it have the best fitness tracking? No. Does it have the best battery life? No. Is it still the best jack-of-all-trades smartwatch? Probably yes.

Ok just going to say that the charger cable has nothing to do with the fast charging. And the processor in the s7 apple wath is the s7 processor not the s6.
The size is not that big of a difference. Picked up the series 7 several times thinking it was the series 6. The display is exactly the same, no difference when looking at it. The dust resistance wasn’t made it was the the watch was already dust resistant jut didn’t test for the label. Not any more resistant to cracks. Lol faster charging is not really faster ok 5 minutes faster it the 10 tests I did. Not faster. Lol reverse wireless charging is the stupidest gimmick next to 120 hz. Why in the hell would anyone want to deplete one devices battery for another. Stupid. Lol don’t buy this watch cause of a watch face bad advice. Lol a lot of software changes, just a keyboard lol.
Do not do not go to buy a new watch Apple Watch when they have not improve the battery life when they still have 18 hours of battery life when they need to improve the battery life

I upgraded from series 3 to 7 and I’m not disappointed, it’s WAY WAY bigger
I am getting on average 24 hours of battery with 24-33% battery left when I recharge, my series 3 at best was 18 hours.
I'm staying in my series 6 as it was the first and last Apple Watch I ever own which the same goes for my iPhones too.
I find that glass curve very irritating. They made the display bigger but light reflects off of that curve making it look untidy.

I upgraded from a 82% battery health S6 to a 97% battery health S7 for a cool $20. The display is nicer and having an on screen keyboqrd is nice

It’s 18 hours but no one is using the watch for 18 hours straight so for him and what he used it for, it lasted him a day and a half.
