So you're telling me Jesus didn't already know his ultimate plan which led to the cross? If this is the case why would he pray to not have to die. That makes no sense. You are implying that Jesus got weak and if thats true then Jesus was never perfect. Jesus was not praying to take his death away. The cup insinuates the Glory of God. Jesus prayed if there was any other way for God to get more glory then let it be, but because God already knew the plan when he prayed that it cannot pass from him he knew He was the one who brought Glory to God and his death would do this. Hince the prayer of Jesus in John 17: 1-5
