Best online content relating to photography. Packed with great information that I haven't seen on any other TH-cam channel. It's direct no nonsense approach is so refreshing. I am sick and tired of watching photographers spend half of their program getting out of bed, having breakfast, walking through the woods etc., before getting down to any kind of useful information. This is my first comment of any kind on TH-cam. Regards Peter in White Rock British Columbia.

Thanks Peter. We thought we would leave the getting out of bed, having breakfast, getting their bag out of the car and walking through the woods to all the others, as they seem to do it so well!

The "vlog" trend is one of the most deeply annoying trends of recent times. So much time wasted on watching others do pretty much nothing. Everyone's making a lot of "content" on TH-cam and IG, just that a vast majority of that "content" is utterly pointless and even manifests disdain.

If only there was a photography show, on TH-cam, lasted about 50 minutes and kept me engaged and entertained for each and every single minute............. wait............... I''ve found it! Seriously, I am impressed, not only with the content but the presentation. I wish you good luck for the future, but with this degree of professionalism, I'm sure you will be very successful.

If you had the Photopills app on your phone you could have planned your moonshot when first scouting the photoshoot in the manner outlined in this video www.photopills.com/videos/plan-6-full-moon-top-sky-tower-auckland-new-zealand. I'm sure The Photographer’s Ephemeris app also has guides and videos to help plan the same shot minimising the chances of failure

Hello from Florida, I just discovered your channel tonight and loved the video as though I'm more of a beginner I love learning and seeing and learning the different techniques and the lovely photos and videos of photography that many take and share with us who have a desire to become and learn more on photography that may not have the skills and what equipment it takes or doesn't take to get that great shot and share with others. Love how you have segments on different things and how to go about getting that shot and I have to confess it doesn't hurt to have a lovely and beautiful host and her lovely Irish voice to share the journey of photography. Look forward to seeing more of what you have to offer and the lovely photos of which you share. Maybe even of the host and what she has to share in the photos she takes. 😊👍❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Just found Photography Online for the first time and though I'm not very experienced with photography {much more experience with video} I'm beginning to feel drawn into photography more and more.
My camera is a Lumix G85 {nothing fancy} and one of the deciding factors for this purchase is because it was the least expensive quality camera offering 4k video which is important for me since I'm more a videographer than a photographer. Now I'm doing more and more indoor video with within very tight spaces and need to find a good low cost wide angle lens.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be appreciated. I've looked at so many options that I've only ended up more confused than before I started. I would like to have the widest angle possible while keeping the quality high and of course the cost to a minimum. Please note the shipping and import fee's can greatly increase the cost of even the best deal.
Therefore I would probably need to make my purchase within Canada since that's where I live. But I do live close to the border and have access to a USA address which I often use. A lot of times the prices for many items can still be less in the USA even after paying the exchange and import fee's to drive over the border and personally pick things up.
Thanks Photography Online for taking the time to create very well made video for beginners like me...keep up the good work!
    Cheers
    Tyler

The Mission Possible is great in how to "get a shot" is planned and dreamed of for a long time. The project piece with James is a great motivational piece also. Top notch stuff here and I hope it continues on and gets great backing and brings more gear and people to the interview or review segments. Well done to all that put this together. Ok, I'm partial to things, locations and people relating to Scotland - I can't lie - but what you've put together, the iconic locations around the world, the beautifully balanced content and the extremely professionally put together show make this the best I've come across, and I know you'll only get better and better... so when do we see you in Amsterdam? @chiukiamsterdam

No immediate plans to visit Amsterdam but for the next show we are in Venice, so maybe the next time we choose a water city it will be Amsterdam!

Great show guys, really enjoyed the first two episodes. In regards to your Moon and Tree mission, I see you’re using TPE, but not TPE 3D, which will give you the exact time/position etc for your shot. By adding a pin in TPE then opening that up in TPE 3D you can then double tap the pin and it will take you into ground level at your pin position. Then you can just move through the timelines and literally see the moons path through in your line of sight. Hope that helps and keep up the good work so far 😃

Hi Neil. Thanks for your suggestion but we tried that and it's not accurate enough as you can't see the tree on the 3D map. We tried a few different things and they all gave different results, so in the end we decided that the only way to it properly was to go there and see for ourselves. Glad you like the show and thanks for taking time to comment.
