Hello everyone and welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! After a slightly longer Intro than normal and conquering yet another Golden Wonder at 12:56, Kessessek sails forth in to the sea to find a new opponent. The second and final new Tome is researched at 47:28, a long-time irritation is sunk to the bottom of the ocean at 1:06:57, the next Facet reclamation is declared at 1:29:37, and the Lizardmen reclaim the form of their Creator Race (Naga Transformation) at 1:37:02. Thank you all for 8k subs and for watching! If you're curious, you can find information on the short-running beta here: store.steampowered.com/news/app/1669000/view/4121427534078167712?l=english
I like the idea of pairing off with Shekinister and one of their offspring will be the embodiment of the World Serpent. In my opinion it vibes more with a truly devoted servant than gobbling up all the power and becoming a god himself.
Alright, Fabe, time for the important question. When is the Blintception with all the variants of the meme-mole on one map, duking it out for a chance to become the Blint Prime?
If I might provide some story reasoning to befriend Shekinester: It's true that, barring one exception, facets of the World Serpent have only been transferred by the death of the previous holder, but that exception is important: Shekinester became unstable from trying to add just one facet to her total; trying to claim all her facets at once through violence could be disastrous. Perhaps the various facets can be transferred, but not unified, by the death of a host? Perhaps a different path is required to complete the great work. For the World Serpent to be reborn, the cycle of death must end. Let this union be symbolic of the Great Scaled One's coming restoration and new life.
You are correct! The Faithful status reduces a unit's upkeep by 10%; however, Keeper's Mark itself has an upkeep cost to it. In this situation, the cost of casting and maintaining the Enchantment outweighed the reduction from the Faithful status. That said, Keeper's Mark is primarily used for its death save and opening up further Faithful synergies; the unit upkeep cost reduction is just the cherry on top. (:
The days when extract knowledge was the stupidest of skills. Especially as that was before research became harder in general. One war or free city you decide to keep beating up and you raced through all the tomes.
1:52:00 Wait, wasn't Slowed nerfed so it only reduce available Retaliates by 1 or 2? With Golden Golem, as an example, having 5 (or was that infinite?) , so some units will still be able to Retaliate even with the debuff?
You are correct, but multiple stacks of Retaliation is quite uncommon. Although I am quite surprised that a t3 Polearm didn't have more than 1 Retaliate... Supergrowth is the ultimate counter to my neverending Slow meme.
I might have a problem. I see a small cavern in the underground and I go place a city and release as vassal. I might spend too much time on maps with regenerating infestations though.
So, when the AI will get leadership clash, that strategy of them to recruit an army of heroes to replace loss when they lose a lot of heroes in battle will get a severe nerf. Moral focus build will crush them for not playing like players.
For once, the developers thought of that ahead of time. "AI Rulers will no longer be able to hire multiple Heroes in the same turn. The duration of the Cooldown will depend on the difficulty of the AI. (Not implemented yet)" They go on to explain that change is designed specifically for the instant you brought up; however since it's not implemented, we'll see how that all pans out. 😅
1:39:00 Didn't your mana income go from 446 to 566? Or did I see that wrong? 'Cause that's more than 100, not "almost 100". Watching on pohne though, so I might not be seeing that right.

One blint to rule them all
@@robineverglade4060One Blint to find them.
@@AngryGerbils And in the Darkness, bind them.
You're not the first person to ask, but we'll need a few more Blint variants before we begin the search for Blint Prime. (:
Dont you mean "Blint them"?
I'll show myself out...

I think you should team with her. That way you can have her power and still be good without trying to make yourself unstable: )
Between this, Wartales and King Arthur game. I've been enjoying these vids a lot!
The vibrant green skin is from Anointed People, at least I'm fairly sure that it is
That would make sense! I've been anointed in Neon paint.
44:07 when you casted the - unit upkeep spell your income went down I think, unless i missed something.

I think that trapping members of your people in a tiny little hole that they can't expand from counts as cruel and inhumane punishment. XD

@@Fableheim good to know, thank.

non related question when can we expect the third spell force episode?
Unfortunately, the Cult of Tzeentch is currently on an indefinite hiatus. 😓
Congrats.
Thanks! (:
Yuan-ti unlocked.
Conveniently timed, as I'm about to bash in one of their gods. :D

You are correct! In my defense, it was still "almost 100"... just on the positive overestimation of it. XD
