@@eyestosee5007 we totally agree! Eliminating one of the most expensive parts of these vacations makes a major difference. Thank you so much for subscribing! We truly appreciate it.
@@AccordingToRobin Another thing that we agree on as well. The port of calls definitely leave a lot to be desired. The only other place that we’ve ever traveled to from that port in particular is to Bermuda and that was almost 20 years ago. That’s why we have to nail it when it comes to the ship to make it worth wild. Other than that it’s off to one of the Florida ports we go which usually ends in more travel time and expense and often a shorter voyage. Hopefully they will switch things up soon so we can experience more without having to travel so far away.
Just discovered your channel. Good Work my brother. We sailed on Odyssey out of Rome last year and loved it. Like you we love the Oasis class ships. I am enjoying the interaction between you and your wife. Thanks for sharing. William Indianapolis by way of Upstate New York.
@@amandaoliver6715 thank you so much we greatly appreciate it. Sailing out of Rome sounds amazing! We definitely would do Odyssey again as well but it’s just something about that Oasis class that keeps on bringing us back. Happy Holidays to you and the family sending peace and blessings. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for watching! You are going to have an absolute blast! It's a wonderful ship that isn't to large for you to explore and enjoy. Safe travels.
@@lucabrasi5070 We haven't experienced the Icon yet but it is definitely on our list. Our next ship is the Allure of The Sea's in December. We can't wait to see what that ship is like. We have been on the Oasis of The Sea's a few times and we have heard the Allure is a lot like that. We shall see.
Wait until the prices come down a bit for the Icon. And when you book it, be sure it’s a time when kids are in school. Not just U.S. kids, but others as well. It’s a problem on that ship, for sure.I’m not a kid hater, it’s just that every single day the pools were closed at some point due to a kid puking or pooping in the pools. There are no adult pools and they are really small and narrow. Like less than a body width narrow.
Parking is right next to the port which makes it convenient but definitely not the most economical option. It cost us $210 for a 8 day cruise but the convenience of getting off the ship and going home quickly was great. You just have to way out how important it is to you and what you're comfortable with paying. Have a great trip and thanks for watching!
@@mikdrums99 I actually used a Osmo Pocket 2 for this particular series because of how convenient it was to use. It was definitely easier than using one of my larger cameras. It definitely makes vlogging less noticeable. We truly appreciate you watching.

We totally agree and understand the feeling as well when it comes to repacking our luggage. As soon as we see that final print out of our account and our luggage tags the reality that the trip has come to and end comes crashing down. 🤣🤣
Subscribed! NJ native here. Cape Liberty is such a convenient port for me. Sail about 3-4 times a year.

I hate that the only place a 7 day cruise is to Bahamas. But we don’t always want to fly.

I’m sure. We were on the Icon in May. Try it if you haven’t already. But to be honest, the Oasis and Quantum classes are our favorites.
