Well that does tie in well with the episode's clear inspiration from Rashomon. The stories are about the same event, but are different and provide insight into each of the teller's personality, motivations, view of the world, etc. etc.

I like how Ed's story shows what he thinks of the others, Eddy taking lead (like usual) and Edd saying yap in a more distressed voice and sticking close to Ed (showing that he is easily scared)
I might have an answer to Ed's soap phobia. My personal theory is: he's allergic, and hygiene products make him itchy. Ed is too dumb to know what allergies are, so he assumes soap is some evil alien harbinger of death.

Edd's story while exaggerating Ed and Eddy's behavior is more grounded, Eddy's is basically how he sees himself, and then there's Ed's...Ed's punches logic in the face and goes full on crazy fantasy sequence mode.
This is another one of my favorite episodes, Especially with Ed's story I mean it's totally the kind of story that he would tell with his kind of imagination. Hell i even always agree with Eddy when he says "Ed your story's getting weird" and it was also funny to hear Double D say nothing but "blah, blah, blah" and "Yap, yap" and "Dribble, dribble, dribble" signifying that Ed doesn't understand most of what Double D says.XD
The story of how the three Ed's got into Johnny's house wall and to be honest, Eddy's story had nothing related to it as he was just being Self-Centered and Prideful thinking he is the richest man in the world and owning a ton of jawbreakers, Double D was the same as he was just Trying to control Eddy and Ed's behavior, Ed's however seemed the most accurate, without the kankers being giants.

As revealed in that episode, the entire reason Jimmy has to wear a retainer is because one of the Eds' scams ruined his teeth. By depicting Jimmy without the retainer here, Double D is basically erasing his responsibility in the event by pretending it never happened.
I think I know what happened. Eddy decided to make a jawbreaker bank in an attempt to scam the neighborhood kids out of their jawbreakers only for them to be chased by the kankers leading Ed to jam him and his friends into Johnnys crawl space
You missed Marie's suddenly appearing shoe, and a better question than why Ed would love chickens if he thinks they can shoot energy beams that turn things into stuff he's afraid of is why Marie has them.

Watching this review, I'm surprised you didn't mention the jawbreakers that said they were from Graceland. That's also in America because Graceland is located in Tennessee. I wanted to see some jawbreakers that are from Liverpool. Oh well, I guess the Presley family can have all the jawbreakers they can have. Whether they're dead or alive. Priscilla is getting all the money selling them anyways while Elvis's legacy is still going strong from his music, the biopic, and the new Netflix show. I agree. Those Beatles references are great and I've listened two out of three of those songs. Eddy and Edd: "IT'S A NEVER ENDING STORY!" Me: "But where's Dustin and Suzie from Stranger Things? Aren't they suppose to sing the song?"

With you pointing out the idea of chernobyl, well, it is true that the area is technically categorized as uninhabitable, or, people can't make permanent residents there, but people are able to stay there in pripyat short term, also, I was going to point out the reference, but am glad to see you spotted it. With Ed not understanding edd and understanding Rolf, that may have been for this episodes plot, as we see in some other episodes, ed can understand edd just fine like in the episode where Jimmy gets hurt left and right throughout the episode and eddy is competing with him. With Jonny falling asleep to Ed's story and not the other 2 Ed's story, maybe it was because Ed's story was more interesting and the other 2s weren't.

These stories are creative in every respect, but it’s a shame that while Ed also loves Jawbreakers, he couldn’t make them a pivotal part of his story. In it, the Kankers grow giant after eating Radioactive Mashed Potatoes. The Ed’s, being the heroes, could easily get superpowers by consuming radioactive Jawbreakers (maybe that’s where the Chernobyl Jawbreakers could come into play).
