I am in a competitive guild myself, f2P havnt needed to swipe. Just sell litho purples to the whales who dont even max their blue traits before upgrading. Sold helm of the field general litho from world boss for 8k lucent, many dungeon purples for 500 ish lucent, p2w just have less grinding to do.

That's actually not true. In the high-end pvp he would've been put to sleep and swirled by tornado + flash arrow. I am also a f2p player, currently standing at 3,2k gear score
you can get 3k gs which is enough to participate in such events as f2p(as long as your build is right). Tier 1 content so far is pretty good for f2p, but later with newer content and T2 it'll become truly difficult for f2p to catch up. Now it's possible and quite f2p-friendly. In 5 weeks you can get to 3.5k GS when most of p2w are sitting at(3.5-3.7k gs) for example.

You have a very hot take. GvG is more about numbers and correct counters than gear. A "tank" with full melee defences will melt to 3 staff players, unrelated to how good thier gear is.

You need time or if you don't have time then you need to swipe if you want to keep up with the people above 3k gs or just luck or server domination and win boss drops and sell them for lucent, maybe your guild works with DKP system so then you just spend dkp for items worth high lucent

As a New player on this game I can confirm that no one likes shrouds clan because there is no strategy you just have to pay $400 and you’re just as good, we are on the server Xeroth and they are all whales/ unemployed players who take it as serious as a real job not trying to talk shit but it’s just the reality of it, they make it mind numbing to do any pvp events, highly suggest avoiding this server if you’re a pvp player
