Loved the episode where Flynn wakes up in a hospital to Provenza standing over him with It's A Girl pink balloon and Provenza says that he's sorry; the hospital gift shop didn't have any other balloons. It was funny, cute and touching.

This is the only show that has me chuckling out aloud other than Barney Miller. And I began seriously watching the closer during the pandemic. My favorite character is Provenza, followed by Pope, who I thought was stellar and overlooked quite often. Flynn and provenza had great chemistry. But my fav part is when Provenza is on the phone with Chief Johnson and asks her where she is. Pope says who's that, and he says "my proctologist." Pope says you're asking your proctologist where they are? I was in stitches.
