    What a trip this was! Barry has done a stellar job with this edit (like the rest of his films actually).
    I couldn't think of anyone better to be stuck with up a freezing cold mountain with.
    Thank you all for watching and sharing your comments, and taking time to check my little channel out, it means so much.
    We will be back!! 🤘

      Oh yes, It was that stare we shared, not many words had to be spoken after that. We did not manage to capture how was we descended though, haha, so the few times we both almost fell off the mountain

      @@barrygodin7538 I wish I had the strength to film the descent as I really wanted to. Pulling the brake or taking my water bottle out of the cage was hard enough.

      @Anton Chigurh Hi Anton! It's a Hunt, it's been designed by Dan Hunt for bikepacking without mounts for racks as there's many different bag systems to take your fancy.
      Well spotted on the wheels, you can view the website for his frames here: huntbikes.com/

      @Anton Chigurh it is indeed buddy! That do have a euro based website too. One of the best bikes I've ever ridden.
      We can be hooligans on these things, we come from the same riding background :)

    I felt your pain there Barry. Headed out up Cadair Idris one time and the weather turned on us. I called a stop when I noticed my friend Rob’s lips were turning blue. It’s very rare for my to back down from anything but just occasionally you instinctively know it’s the right thing to do. It’s not cowardice or quitting. It is self preservation and wisdom and, above all, experience. We made it to the top a few years later but the first (abandoned) attempt is now a great story to those with less experience. As beautiful and majestic as mountains are they are dangerous places as you well know. They’ll still be there if you want to try again👍

    • @barrygodin7538
      @barrygodin7538  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Robert, Blue lips does not sound good! Yes we totally made the right decision, but it also is always the right and best decisions you have to make in these circumstances. It is not until you are in that situation that your brain comes to understand what to do

    Love your vids bro. One tip I learned recently is to switch the EIS off when doing pan shots - they come out way smoother as the EIS processor doesn't try to hold on to one spot but allows the shot to slide by smoothly. Happy trails.

    hi BG.. you and Allen were lucky in the end -that weather and being so cold up in the hills is dangerous - bail out plan was the best course of action by far. Hopefully the weatehr is kinder for the next adventures -well done for battling through that one though! Filming was great until it switched to survival mode :)
