And when Jesus told the thief on the cross that TODAY you will be with me in paradise

      New International Version (NIV)
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise. It depends on where you put the “ coma” on the word “ Today”.

Jesus did not go to heaven straight away. But said today, meaning because he acknowledged Christ that day he will be with Christ in paradise that .

I tell you now, Jesus will return for his people. He's not returning now, I'm making the statement now. I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise. Not today, but I'm making the statement today.

"Today...you will be with me in paradise"😮 To be absent from the body,is to be present with The Lord😮 "I am The Resurrection, whoever believes in Me,even if he dies, he will live"😮

Jesus told Mary, I have not yet ascend to heaven. The comma changes the meaning and wasn't in manuscripts. It was "I tell you today, you will be with in paradise." *Dont forget to like and subscribe for more! Thanks friend.

What about the verse that says to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord?

The absence of the body is the sleep in the grave unconscious & to be present with the Lord is the day of resurrection. The time lapse can be any length of time in the grave completely oblivious to us.

"Nearest the throne are those who were once zealous in the cause of Satan, but who, plucked as brands from the burning, have followed their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who perfected Christian characters in the midst of falsehood and infidelity, those who honored the law of God when the Christian world declared it void, and the millions, of all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the “great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues,” “before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.”"

When you go to sleep you are oblivious of what is happening rround you until you wake up. So it is when you die you sleep and when you are resurrected you have no recollection of what happened. Its as if no time has passed. The thief could not have gone to heaven that day because Jesus only ascended to heaven after 40 days.

True. Paradise is not the heaven., where God dwells. There are heavens.

God ISNT winking anymore at man's ignorance. He said all men will know him. Look up, all around, you can see God, REPENT, and ask him to refine you of your sin.
