I ordered my Omnilux, it took a couple weeks as the orders were backed up. They had a waiting list, shipping them out in the order as placed orders were received. I placed my order April 20. It was received via UPS on May 11.
I used it the first time on May 12. Telling the truth, I LOVE IT! Also? I used it for 2 - 3 ten minute cycles per day. Today is May 19. I had 3 areas of sun damage. They are completely faded, gone!
Today, a person who I see occasionally at the gym, commented on my skin, asked what I had done!
Also? I have taken NeoCell Collagen for over 10 years. On April 1, I switched to Orgain Collagen Peptides. My dermatologist told me that 40 grams of collagen was necessary to be effective. I'm more of a water drinker than anything. First thing after brushing my teeth, I put 2 scoops of Orgain Collagen Peptides in each of 2 - 6 oz bottles (emptied after drinking bottled water. So, 4 scoops total. I really think it's making a huge difference.
I just r received this mask about a month ago and I almost didn’t buy it because I thought I was to old , but I am so glad I did! Those lip wrinkles already aren’t as deep and those lines around my eyes aren’t as deep either. I have been using every other day. @@TheOrganicEsthetician I noticed the comment about the lip wrinkles being improved. There aren't any lights where the upper lips are. That is my only area of concern on my face and was disappointed to see that there isn't a light in that region. I'm wondering if there truly was any noticeable difference or if Sue was noticing results around her lower lip or lip corners?
You should never charge the device with the mask connected to it!!! Thats their specific instructions!!!
Exactly!! It's a big no-no to do that. Instead you need to charge the remote separately and once it's charged, THEN you connect the charged remote to the mask and it's ready to use.

Great video! You might know by now but the book that comes with it says not to plug it in the way you demonstrated. Just the cord and box gets charged. It says if you charge with the mask attached it can damage the mask. The first time I ever charged mine I did it the way you demonstrated and said to myself I guess I better read the book. Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for this. I have been wanting to purchase one of these devices forever. I had a handheld one that I did not like at all. This is definitely more my speed. I have a few questions. When we use this, we just need to pair it with the serum? No toner or essence or anything first? Like if I used this in bed at night, I could put on my toner and serum and use it or just the serum and then continue with my routine after the 10 minutes? Also, do you any other recommendations for a serum? I am definitely buying this one for myself, but my sister cannot use the cannabis/hemp in skincare products. What would be a good alternative? I'm confused about how to charge it. The Omnilux quick start fact sheet online says to NOT have the mask plugged into the charger when you're charging it. They even show a picture of just the charger plugged in. They say it can damage the mask and/or battery by charging it all together.
Exactly! The mask isn’t supposed to be plugged into the charger when charging. The instructions say it clearly.
Could you also use this for achy joints or perhaps old injuries?
They specifically instruct you NOT to use any serums, oils or creams on your face while using this device. 🤦🏻♀️
True. Supposed to have a completely clean & dry skin surface. No product. Only the hydrogel mask sold by Omnilux, of course.

The instructions I have say you can use a water-based vitamin c serum
"Contour should be used on clean, bare skin, or with the Contour Hydrogel. However, if additional hydration is desired during treatment, a light water-based or Vitamin C serum can be used instead of the Hydrogel. Any other products could impact the amount of light reaching the skin and reduce effectiveness, or possibly cause a skin reaction or damage the Contour device itself."

The Omnilux doesn't come with gel. If you purchased through me, I offer a kit that comes with the Maysama Serum. Is that what you meant?

Hey there, I have seen this question asked in quite a few places. If you overheat the skin, you can aggravate melasma/hyperpigmentation. However, I have pigmentation at the top of my cheeks and the Omnilux has done a great job lightening this. I have the face, neck/chest and hand mask - I absolutely love them all! I have had amazing results! :)
I love mine and am upping my time to twice a day and hoping it makes a difference. I also use mine laying flat and pressing with my hands the entire time. 🥰💐🥰
I was also wondering if I can use it twice a day. Also she is saying to use the serum but manufacturer says specifically NOT to use anything with the mask 😮

I found the light to be very bright/strong and potential damaging for the eyes especially when keeping them open. Do you recommend to use protective goggles?
On the website there's a Q&A section that addresses this. They say they've done research and there's no adverse effect on the eyes. Scroll to the bottom of their page and you'll see a link for Support Q&A.
What do you think about mito red light ?
Personally, I'm a huge fan od red light therapy, especially with near-infrared to target the deeper layers of the skin. I recently made a video on the Omnilux for my channel so I looked into all led masks, the Omnilux is my pick. I have the face, neck/chest and hand mask - I absolutely love them all! I have had amazing results! :)

Omnilux says you should be bare faced or use their LED mask with use, so I'm confused??? Can you clarify... thanks
That's correct, you should have clean skin. One thing they do say you can do is use one of their hydrogel masks under it, but it isn't required. Personally, I use mine with completely clean skin so the lights can penetrate properly. I did post a video of me using mine on my channel if you'd like any more info :)
If you can’t afford to buy the gel masks that go under the OmniLux, what can you use during the treatment? I just got mine and have used it about 8 times but once I’m finished, my under eye wrinkles are worse, the skin looks dry and shriveled. What am I doing wrong?

I read on Reddit that a large supply of these masks were defective in 2021 and did permanent damage to a lot of people's skin -- seemingly due to the company using a different manufacturer of the bulbs in China that didn't comply with the exact FDA specifications for the type of bulb needed.

I personally think so, yes. Blue light is a great anti-microbial but I find it to be less beneficial to the overall skin health where red and infrared are fantastic at addressing all skin concerns. I think you'll get more benefit from the red light. Plus, its fantastic at reducing inflammation.

I notice on omnilux’s website does not recommend using the contour if you use Tretinoin within 5 days but most people use Tretinoin several times a week at least, if they are on it. Many other TH-camrs and people on tiktok reviewing it are on Tretinoin and haven’t mentioned any problems. What is your take on it? Do you think the company is just being extra careful for legal reasons? Would love to order but I don’t want to give up Tretinoin 😂

I believe it is recommended to use the mask in the morning when you use tretinoin
Or use the mask first wait 20 min and then apply tretinoin

Why does omnilux say to use their product on a BARE face, and you added a serum? They use a hydrogel (which is really mostly hylauronic to plump out wrinkles anyway to make it look like an improvement) but otherwise they say no products on skin.
Other than the face, could I use the Omnilux on an arthritic knee?
Totally! I lay my face mask on my neck, chest and low back. Could be a great help for arthritic knees.

BUYER BEWARE! My Omnilux no longer shines red. The light has turned yellow. I have only had it since October 22, 2021 and it is December 19, 2021. I haven't misused it at all.
I just got mine, I used it 3 times and the lights were red. Went to use it tonight and they are yellow. 😭
I bought the Omnilux face mask and the neck device. The neck device charger stopped working after three uses!!
Am trying to get Omnilux to send me a new charger for the neck device. Although Omnilux provides an e-mail for questions and problems, after sending several messages, so far absolutely no response from Omnilux!!

Not sure I’m using it correctly. It gaps around my lower face and hurts the bridge of my nose.
Maybe your upper strap is too tight? Mine gaps slightly at my chin and I just rest my hand there to create contact.

They've actually designed and tested it to ensure your eyes are safe. I looked into this before buying mine. I've been using mine for nearly a year and a half and I love it, I've had amazing results! :)

You've left a TH-cam video up with the wrong information, you never plug all in together. You charge the remote to the wall then once fully charged you plug mask into remote never being connected to the mains power. Did you not read the instructions? Please no one listen to her she doesn't know what she's on about
THEY advertise one of their mask for acne treatment but it does not have blue light ??? False advertising!
