I suggested something similar to this for the Next Chapter seasons so its really dope to see it in action! I was going for Sid bc he's putting on for the 843 in a big way... thought he was gonna fight a little harder but I could tell that he and Dav got in their own head a lot bc of the point deficit which is tough. Alex, Ed and Trey were hitting everything! Can't wait for the finale bro!

I understand Sydney not picking up Trey. This is the best chance to eliminate him, but he fumbled picking up Dav. Not even Trey would've made Dav look good. Friga AJ or Pantos were the only smart picks off the bench. I would have gone Friga, Ed, Sydney to SECURE the win but with hindsight I probably go Friga, Alex, and Sydney. The game is a lot closer but you can still realistically eliminate Trey and Ed.
Feel terrible for Syd. He didn't play a good game, I'm sure the nerves got to him but it's not like he played awful. Alex, Ed, and Trey just picked the defense a part and Dav played like he didn't care. Ugh.

I feel like a 10k tournament deserves a referee. A lot of these games are influenced by who fouls the hardest, who calls them most often and who is willing to give up the ball when that happens. It turns out that with 10k on the line a lot of players can't be trusted to make their own calls or play fair, haha. I'm kind of worried that's going to heavily affect the 1v1's as well.
