He did the exact opposite of what he was trying to show. You won't find this kind of error with Kyokushin Karate demonstrations so there's no excuse that "he's human". You don't say, "Hey everybody... watch me... look what I can do, and then totally blow it!".
Oh yes. Go right ahead and try that high round house to the head. And watch what happens when you don't connect. And more than likely you won't. You'll be the one who ends up in the emergency room. Trust me, I've seen it happen. No kicks in real self defense above the solar plexis!

As an allround Karataka he is very good and people see him for the legend he is. But yes there are many good and better kickers out there today.
