Good singer John Schneider I didn't know that knew how to sing such loving songs until this year ❤️ your favorite fan 😍 Ms Lesley haswell ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just to let you know, he got that old charger going and made it out of that town, became a living legend and made a amazing life for himself and his family.
I just watched this for the first time and for some strange reason after maybe 10 seconds into it I didnt see John Schneider sitting on the porch singing this. I saw Bo Duke. And then when the General showed up I was like holy crap ! Poor old Bo’s the only one left around Hazzard ! It was sad !! Great piece of work John,,but sad.
@@codyjames9376 His job, his girlfriend, his family obligations, perhaps his lack of copious money - all prevent him from leaving. If he only cared about HIMSELF then he WOUlD leave.
Thought the same thing about Hazard Ky. It took a while and I was Georgia bound two years ago. I went from one small town to another. The difference was the peace that I finally found.
I'm loving it, ,,, most of that video was shot with a drown in my home town amite la, not far from Johns house,,,holden la.,,,I'm reading some of these comments about him singing,,,I must add that John can sing his ass off ,,,most people don't even know he can sing, ,,he can pack a place real quick, ,an not even try
For me, I hear this song from a different perspective. I left my small home town one month after graduating high school. Now I am stuck living in suburbia commuting in traffic for an hour and a half a day. I want to go home and live a simpler life in my small hometown in the mountains but I can't get outa this town. Love this song.
I have 70 chevelle up on blocks. I have a porch facing a river. I haven't moved since 1979. I bought the family home in 1991. Driven semi 🚛 for 22yrs & looks like I'm not moving either. Train don't come thru here they ripped up the tracks in the 80s but they still own the land. This reminded me of my small town.
@@JohnSchneiderStudios Hey John I knew you sang but the more videos I watch on your channel the more I realized how talented of a singer you truly are. Thanks for the content. I truly enjoy your channel thank you John.
Reminds me of growing up in Louisiana. I use to walk along the train tracks as a kid there even of a trestle. Then the railroad went away. I was truly free back then. Kids are no longer free. Kids are left in the house like a dog kennel. I wonder how this will effect people growing up now.
I know how he feels about it, I listen to JS going down the road I'm a truck and and John *aka bo * just gets me wond up hi is older songs are great to guy has a great voice, keep more country music coming john we need the "good ole boy "
This song reminds me of how town's used to be growing up and now you see places overgrown, people have forgotten about the small towns and now they build by passes to get you to bigger towns quicker, the little towns built this country and I will always drive through them because I can enjoy my drive and the scenery
Great music from a GREAT singer from the traditional country music days. I am still listening since I was a kid. You were always one of my favorite singers. Keep the music coming John. Ben B.
The town must be called "Hazzard" I met John at a car show in my town I had him sign my Bow that as a kid id shoot arrows sitting on the door my dads green 1970 charger shooting a hay bale into the garage I tried taping road flares but my target bow arrows just dropped lol.I lived every friday to watch the newest episodes.John is a real nice guy in person
Mr. Schneider, you are truly a country singer! Thank you for staying true to your roots. We need more artists like you in the business today! I have always loved your albums and your acting. Keep up the great work! This song reminds me of myself, as I live in a dying town myself. I want to get out, but my family is rooted in this old town. What a great song!
I remember you John when I as 12 you came to our state fair with the General. We had pictures together. I wish I still had that photo. Lost it in moving from foster to foster home. God Bless you. Love from western Iowa USA 🇺🇸 🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Still waiting to get out of this town, not sure if i will make it out i feel like I would be brought back.... Thank you #JohnSchneider i have had to battle cancer and see both ny parents battle it as well... Its not an easy battle.. still praying for you
@John Schneider, I love this song!! I feel like this sometimes.. Loved growing old with you Friend!! I think we have seen a lot in our lives!! Jesus is Lord! Bless you 😇🤗💞
Great job. Message: what you tell yourself is what you believe. We have an amazing God. Let him tell you what your going to do. Funny that town rhymes with crown.

Hey John ! This has become my new FAVORITE song ! It reminds me of the little town I live in, a little whole in the wall called Iuka, MS. where they roll up the sidewalks around 10:00 p.m. so o speak LOL !
I miss his acting just as much as I miss his singing, I remember back in 1986 or so when he bumped Alabama off the top of the charts to become #1 himself with his song at the time. I know this is just a video but he seemed to connect really close emotionally with this song. I love how he referred to the Dodge Charger in this song & then it showed a pic of the General Lee. Great song.
Travis Gamin: A man of all talents; directing, acting, writing, producing, singing, edition, studio engineering, etc. etc.. Since Christmas 1983 he seems to effortlessly inspire me as well.
John is a great guy and super nice I met him a few years ago at the back to the 50's car show at the mn state fair grounds and he sounds great in this video. John this song is awesome way to go
Nice song Mr. Schneider. One to think on for us who are from a small town like myself. I did get out, but not by my choice. I miss it , especially after living in a big city for a long time. I met you in Gallup NM when you were doing dancing with the stars, and you were very kind and I appreciate the time you took out for me. I've been a fan of yours since the Dukes of Hazzard days. I thought it was so cool that you were on Curb your enthusiasm show too. Best wishes to you and your's and continue roll of good luck.
I am a fairly new listener, knew him from HAHNs. JOHN you are a wonderful actor. This song I keep listening to it over and over. It really strikes a chord with me because you are acting out the song with your voice and face. I keep changing my mind about which one of your songs is my favorite. I guess they all are. I will keep buying the cd's as I Can afford them. Maybe Alicia has told you I am dying to watch inadmissible, but cineflix doesn't like me an won't let me rent it. Such a shame. I am fairly good with my tablet but usually if it is more complex than a wheelbarrow I am stumped. Hope you liked my joke. Don't let anyone discourage you about your talent. You are truly blessed with multiple amazing gifts even as you get older. Talent like yours is one of God's gifts to this sad world. I hope climb the ladder of music success.
This is one of my favorite songs John
This puts today's so called country music to shame. This is real country music.
I always thought John should have been more famous for his music than what he is .. wonderful voice Love you John keep singing please
