I love my 07 Yukon Denali!! It's not the XL. It has 297k miles and has lots of rust but no issues. No engine light, No TPMS issues, it's always super comfortable and super reliable. I also average about 17 mpg but have after market wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. Just a fantastic vehicle all the way around!! I have owned it since new.
I have a 2011 Denali with 263,000 miles, I live in a rural area and average 13.5 mpg- haven't done a long highway trip yet to see what highway mileage is like. But as you stated, these aren't designed for fuel economy. I can tow my boat or car hauler in comfort and style, lol.
My 07 real world Yukon Denali non xl gets 24.7 average at 80 mpg. But I have a tune, full exhaust and the 3rd row seats removed. My profile pic is my reflection in the door.
17 mpg in a vehicle that’s already aged and has horsepower drop off with a V8 and is a boat yet somehow gets better gas mileage then my v6 2010 explorer.
I have the opportunity at a 2008 Yukon Denali, not the XL! I’m in Canada and it has just under 200k km on it (124k miles) it’s a family members mechanics daily. He’s looking for $8,000 Canadian which is unbelievably cheap for vehicles right now. Not sure if I should be bold and make the move, no A/C and it’s a gas guzzler!
Not true, common misconception, it will get a lot better mpg and the full 403 horsepower but these engines are flex fuel and can even take e85 without messing with the engine
The fuel door says premium fuel “recommend” not required. You will not hurt the engine running lower octane fuel. The cpu will adjust timing accordingly.
Never pump regular fuel like you just did in the video. Clearly reads on the fuel door to onluly use premium fuel ONLY. I know fuel is expensive but I promise you not as expensive as repairing that engine.

Too much camera movement. Excellent gas mileage for what they are. Less expensive to operate compared to newer, more expensive generations. Mine has a curb weight of 5,901 pounds.
That generation Yukon Denali has some of the fakest looking wood...not sure if GMC still puts fake wood appliques on their upper-end Denali trims. My cowrkr has the same generation and it looks like a plastic piece made to look like genuine wood.

I weirdly got excited for this one! When I was 13 this was literally my dream suv 🤣🤣🤣 also congrats on 15k
Haha, that's great! It is a neat car, that's for sure. A bit of an icon. And thank you!
My Denali averages 9mpg in town. Not sure what hwy mpg is. But I love the truck!

No it doesn't.
What tune do u have? How much
It isn't a 6.2 if it does..😂
Loved your review! Got a like and a new subscriber!
One year i got 9.1L/100km roughly 25mpg going to Atlanta from Canada. The yukon has totally spoiled me GMC is my brand
Love the gmt900, gmt800 and older platforms. Really want a 2500 Suburban 4x4 for a duraburb.

Just picked an 2008 except its white. Very easy to work on and drives great. MPG is well not great only 145k on it too.
it would have been nice if you had also reset the onboard MPG to see if it was accurate. But great information.

WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT..
17 MILES A GALLON LEGENDARY..
KING OF THE ROAD 💯
U HAVE TO PAY TO BE LEGENDARY 💯💯
Octane boost is your friend 👍
I thought only premium was ok for a Denali ?
I believe that Denali with the 6.2 takes premium. Not regular

@@OfficialNice that’s the 5.3 . Not the 6.2 . The 6.2 take’s premium
Wrong. 6.2 premium only
@@DC5-DRO gas cap literally says e85 or premium quit being a dummy

Just found out these take 91 octane fuel 😂😅
Can you do 2012 Chevy Silverado ltz and lzt 2500 duramax
Are y'all going to be doing a real world sound system test for the Yukon shown?
Already recorded it! Should be live tomorrow or Wednesday
Great can't wait to hear the test.
Who's truck is this? Will there be a Winding Road video on this? This is my dream truck!
Yup! Already shot the WR video!
@@DailyMotor Sweet! Who's truck is this?
17.6mpg is a dream. My yukon denali gets 12.4mpg
What's consumption of the test? Say me please
18 mpg
Do a sound system test on a Toyota Camry, the new model though
What was your transfer case setting for this drive? 2W or Auto?
It has no selector its awd
Can you do a 4Runner next please?

@@DailyMotor thanks
Sound demo coming? Heh. I remember the old (either sequía or 4runner one) and that one made me laugh.
Tomorrow morning!
I assume this is AWD correct?
Yes
“God this thing is a fuckin bus” love that😂

The only thing is this engine requires premium.
.....yeahhhhhhhhhh. Premium is a tough pill to swallow with this gas tank 😅
@@DailyMotor yes but I do it to protect my 21 Yukon Denali 6.2 V8
@@cdgarcia453 you’re insane
No it doesn’t.
Premium helps in town mpg and overall less pinging = Prolong engine life 4sure. Also octane boost these things love that stuff 💯

None of the cars get the epa mpg
GMC Tahoe but the train❤ they look
the same
This voice is new?
2014 yukon denali..13.1 on the highway. Needs a 32g tank.😂
can u do another take with more nauseating camera motion?

Very beautiful vehicle but not very well-made. I'd be nervous driving around with those warning lights on
Fuel economy tests with a check engine light. Nice waste of time
