in fact the reel-to-reel tape recorder at the end of the mixing chain changes your sound for the better. subtle but necessary. nice video, informative. congratulations
@@SensationalMaccala thank you! It’s that warmth and gentle glue compression that is just chef’s kiss 🤌
I went back to tape but cassette and reel to reel combo. I have a Yamaha MT8X , MT120, fostex X12 and a old Roberts reel to reel.
After comparing acoustic guitar recording from digital and analog there is no comparison.
@@lawrencerasmus honestly, tape is just magic😅✨ it somehow is able to just capture the soul of the soul and make it feel warm and sparkly. It’s like film photography or 35mm film. The medium itself has a depth and a grain that you feel🙌✨

Ppl from 60s-80s wish they can record super clean music 🎉ppl in 2024 wanna go back to 60s 😂😂😂 use real tape lmao 😮
@@TrapBoiFuse561 well sometimes we don’t know a good thing until it’s gone 😂 I think ppl are just tired of sterile digital, tape makes it sound alive!
o.m.g. .......you are beautiful !
why always the sound engineers have horrible sound quality on youtube?
@@amirkhan-fu2uj man I blame DaVinci.. so used to protools haha just realized I exported without my chain😅😂👍
It isn't horrible. There is very little noise, and she is back from the microphone, where sound has less proximity effect. In an information video, what matters most is the intellectual content, and being extremely articulate not being required to always demonstrate being an exemplar of audio recording which is probably evident in her production work.
