I thought about using a heat gun on low but I didn’t want to risk any cracking or bubbles from drying too fast, I’m not sure how sensitive gel coat is.
Hi Kevin! I'm completely new to sailing and boats and your videos have been very helpful! I do not have a boat yet I'm planning on getting one in the future. Will most other boats need this much work done to them before they can properly sail? Thank you! 🙂
No not at all, I am going to extremes to make sure I know everything about my boat and that it is set up exactly how I wanted it. My first boat I didn’t have to do any work on, in fact I hope you get a boat you don’t have to work on so you can get a good taste for sailing first! It’s a whole other world, you’ll have a blast!
The way we could hear you still hammering as all the lights went out was hilarious. Good progress man keep it up!
Ya I wonder if anyone in the apartments next door are cursing me at night for all the hammering lol 😅
My boatyard said they use lights to dry things when it is cooler.
