Ah, I have a great memory of this place. I was new to my guild and the game in general and brought along on a run of the dungeon, massively underleveled, intended just to see the place and hoover up some free XP. They mentioned they were running out of stamina potions, and I had an idea; I'd just bought a pet herb gnu, see, and you could harvest random herbs from it at the cost of MP. But it regained all MP on leveling up, and it would get a bunch of free XP as long as it was kept out while they killed things... So I summoned the pet and harvested from it basically non-stop, used the herbs to make more stamina potions in the downtime between running it out of MP and it gaining another level, and when the group did run out of potions I had a fresh supply for them to use. I might have just been a dumb low level kid, but I felt really good about being able to contribute to the raid in spite of being in no way ready or expected to.
15 years ago, one of the hardest, most deadly dungeon that users ever faced in this game. Come to think of it now, the bgm is really well made that will creep you out.
I couldn't join the first raid with the GMs after G2 was released (which I'll always regret), but I did join the second raid with about 30 people. I think we spent more than 7 hours to beat it and I'm glad I still have the recordings in my hard disk lol.
I remember the raids after Peaca after first became available. Last groups of people going in and dying super fast. Those were good times. Is Mabinogi still played much?
I miss doing Friday night 1 Gold runs with all of the tops guilds. Back when Peaca was the hardest dungeon in the game and it took 100+ people hours to beat it.
@theanimer1 I wonder when I will give peaca normal a try... I think I can do it even I get r1 WM, FH and Smash and a few other skills (by few so does I mean quite many melee, magic and archery skills to r1 XD)
@lightwing5000 This song makes me think of how dark, evil, and powerful i'll be once i get all my skills to rank 1 in the far future and be unstoppable. =)
@theanimer1 true, brains owns brawn, but I was just assuming XD, everything depends on how I fight too... have to fight in a smart way and not just rely on brute force unlike my friend XD

A year or so ago I challenged a friend to try out Mabinogi. It was not his thing unfortunately (he's an ego shooter boy) but we had tons of fun going into Peaca Basic on our new characters... we died a whole lot especially to the ghosts. At the last floor only the secret overpowered weapon of every beginner - a chain casting fire wand - saved us. We failed at the boss though since our characters were way too weak. Was really fun.
