Thanks Alan... I wondered what that track might have been for - there are a couple of spots where small buildings might have been. Whatever its certainly a cracking spot - I forst went there a good few years ago andtook a friend there to show him around. regards Al
Tnaks mate... we were heading for the Blaen y Glyn waterfalls but I had a last minute change of plan and wanted to show my friend this place. I took the camera but it was so wet I didn't take it out of the bag.
Hi Tim, I wasn't aware of the hill fort - I have just searched it on os mapping - learn something new all the time. Stupid really thinking of the name of the place... it means fort 😀 Thanks . I didn't take my camera out of the bag this trip - I have taken images from there before - butthe forecast is for mist early morning tomorrow so might head back and check out the hillfort. Thanks for watching. regards Al
Lovely location and very atmospheric video. Beautiful greens.
Great to hear the sound of the rain on the woods. Such a relaxing sound even when you're in it!
Amazing old trackway and such an atmospheric location in that weather. Excellent Alan

Hi Alan. Well done for getting out in those conditions. Pretty sure I know where you were if there's a hill fort nearby.......

@@thevalleywalker There's a better fort north of Tor Y Foel Alan. Woodland there is mainly old growth oak and beech. Easy walk up from the dam.
@@timscanlanphotography cheers Tim. Would you mind sending me the co-ords please?
