- Learn how to setup RetroArch iOS multi emulator with my beginner friendly guide. This tutorial can be followed on both the iPhone and iPad. I show how to get the games loaded into Reto Arch, so they can be played in iPhone or iPad. You do need to provide your own games to follow this tutorial.

@@8wsR3 firstly a JIT or Just-In-Time is something that make the “game” run faster. JITs are used by emulators to make a game run smoother and faster. (full definition of JIT at the end of this comment) JITs are not allowed by Apple yet (hopefully they come soon)
Secondly dolphin is the best emulator for GameCube and Wii
A JIT is a management strategy that involves receiving and producing goods or materials only as needed, rather than storing them in inventory. This approach aims to increase efficiency and reduce waste by minimizing the amount of inventory held and the time it takes to produce and deliver products.

JIT, or Just-in-Time, is a compiler that translates byte-code or intermediate script code into machine-language instructions, making those instructions available for execution. JIT allows some apps to run significantly faster - or even at all.

Hi! Just a heads up, you can actually change the .7z files to .zip by simply renaming it on the files app, then you can extract it normally. Great Video!

Sucks that when I do that with sega cd after having the bin and cue files it doesn’t load? After hitting either of the files it goes to suggested cores I select the cores for example pico drive and it says no items? Any help? It does say sega cd supported?
maybe an ISO format will work instead?

If you're still having trouble and can't find the RetroArch folder in files, reinstall the RetroArch app, open it, and try going to the "Configuration File" option and then hit "Save Current Configuration". The folder may appear then, and moving files (roms, bios, saves, etc.) should be easier.

So I’m trying psp. I didn’t change any setting. I loaded up gta vice city stories. The game plays fast forward. But fast forward is not selected. It’s like the game is running at double speed. Edit: figured it out. Make sure audio sync is on

yes
id reccomend connecting your google drive to your files app and then loading from there. you can even use shortcuts to other rom libraries on your drive so you dont need to download anything

You don’t need an app to change 7z to zip you just need to rename it from .7z to .zip it will automatically be zip
I cant seem to get ps1 to work and ive setup retroarch on like 3 devices before. Weird ios launch issue maybe?

@@kor9 nopeeee not that much of a noob, i thought it was a weird file pathing issue with the bios at first but i tinkered for ages and discovered CHD format is currently not working with any cores on IOS end of story

But those files are using .bin & .cue? whats the problem?

i've got all my roms in a "roms" folder in icloud but im struggling to find a way to tell RetroArch to use that as the games directory. any ideas?
I ran into the same problem. Move your games folder onto your phone storage rather than Icloud. Simply hold the folder down and press "move", then browse to phone storage and move to retroarch folder if you want 👍.
make sure you download your rom folder because you can view it without downloading your files then make a folder in retroarch i called it roms and move them roms to that folder and add them by scanning them and they should be a playlist for your roms

There was one called Provenance emulator that they are working that supports Wii
Provenance has ps2 and I think Wii and sega and many others it might release this week or next week guaranteed.

probably depends on the core
it does, ive found with psx roms it takes a moment to read the zip so you just have to be a bit patient. im loading roms from shortcuts in my google drive to other rom libraries :)

It is there. Apple is just making it difficult. If you search by the name of the developer, it will show up. “Retroarch Daniel de matteis" got it for me.

When I was looking through it you can only dl nes, snes, DS, and PlayStation 1 cores but it might come in the future🤷🏻♂️

In RetroArch tap the setting cog wheel icon, then locate the 3rd option from the bottom, then select the bottom option, then choose English. It’ll set your language based on the country or region in your phones settings.
