    Hi, I'm just learning macramé, your channel came up & I subscribed. I'm really fascinated on how a few knots can make such beautiful pieces. Thank you so much for this gorgeous necklace tutorial, I've saved it so I can attempt to re-create it. It probably won't be as good as yours, but I'll try my best, as practice makes perfect. Thank you again for sharing 😊💖 xoxo

    Thank you so much for sharing your amazing skills for doing those beautiful necklaces! I'd love to make a board to hold the threads, how are the measurements of the wooden board and the spaces in between the nails?

    • @MalkaMacrame
      @MalkaMacrame  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you Alina ❣️
      Board is really the best way to create the wrap knot
      Here is the dimensions :
      The bace is 40x13 CM
      And the space between the nails both sides is 7-8cm approx.
      I have an other board with bigger space, they are both good because you can make the first knot as you need and continue rest, sometimes more wider and sometimes small
      Hope it's help ☺🔆

    Love this design. Everything is pretty clear except for how you inserted the wires into the knots. Is there a way you could do this part slower so we could see where and how your inserting them? Would love to make this but not sure about the wire insertion. Thanks much!

    Awesome work. Do you recommend wax cotton or wax polyester? I have been wanting to try micro-macrame for a while, but I just need to find the best cords and try to find a small set of mixed colors and some beeswax. I have hemp, jute, cotton, and flax that I found out I need to keep them waxed so they don’t dry out and fall apart.
    But nothing I have has given me any luck to try macrame with. I have large spools of beading thread that I thought was 0.8mm when I first ordered them and I didn’t see a drop down menu to choose the size and I ended up with the smallest setting size of 0.15mm.
    It’s good to use for threading beads, but even if I triple up the threads they are too silky to hold a knot.

    • @MalkaMacrame
      @MalkaMacrame  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend you 1mm or 0.8mm waxed polyester cords, I always use these for micro macramé, it's different when you try to make jewelry or wall hanging that's why waxed ones are the best , we selling some sets in our shop with free shipping worldwide, you can try it out 🌈✨

    Hey! This is sooo beautiful. I ordered waxed cords but i already want to start. I think i have c-lon cord, its smoother.. is it possible to make it with this cord as well? Im afraid it will not be stiff enough to make a nice shape.
    Also, i have 12 meters of cord. Would this be enough for the whole necklace?

    • @MalkaMacrame
      @MalkaMacrame  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, 12m is little short but you can manage, the problem with other threads with no wax that you can cut and burn them that's actually the point of using the waxed ones ☺️

  • @WillowRaven1985
    @WillowRaven1985 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! I have a question! Some macrame pendant I’ve bought feel very stiff, and it’s hard to press ot even down at the loop so it looks and feels like they have used some kind of stiffener to the finished product. Do you know what is used for these purposes? Thank you for this tutorial 😍❤️

    • @MalkaMacrame
      @MalkaMacrame  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, hard to say without seeing but I think it's could be macrame cord that full of wax then it's can turn different, I like the ones with minimum wax what can keep it clean and flexible

    Very pretty design! But i was wondering what exactly you do with the 6 ropes that are left over, when the Stone Net is closed. There are 2 ropes at the front side of the stone, 2 ropes at the back side of the stone and 2 ropes in the middle of the stone. This is not really mentioned/shown in the video.

      Hey, the base link is 4 and the knot cord is 2 more , when you closing the stone you have 6 cords 2 in the front 2 in the back and 2 between, that's what I basically mean 😌

      @@MalkaMacrame yes i understand that, but my question was ¨What exactly you do with these 6 cords¨ ? You all cut and fire them? Or you knot them together in your outer line/circle ?

      @@tammyh.2739 the front ones I use for the designs - 4 cords
      And the 2 in the back I cut later

    I have issues with the stone falling out... any ides how to fix this without glue.

    • @MalkaMacrame
      @MalkaMacrame  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My advice for this very common question is to make the back side shorter than the front (in two knots) and make in the back simple knot that easier to adjust but it's all about practice, more you make it more easy it becomes ❤️

    Have you ever had any problems with pieces unraveling after cutting and burning the ends? I'm a beginner and I do this too, but I worry that the piece may unravel in the future!

    I don't know the detailed sizes, such as the size of the stone, the length and number of strings, and how many stitches of frame stitches are needed.
    I would be happy if you could let me know.

    I tried to do this and somehow left out two strings ar the bottom and it came out very lop-sided so i gave up. Just goes to show why some things should be left for the pros! 😂🙏
