Yep we play offline and we couldn't get anything going at fertile lake so I explored the whole map and decided on the edge before I read that was the best place lol.
I give you a tip , if you want to tame a Spino. If you follow the river behind the lake , theres a waterfall and a big rock in the middle of the river after this waterfall , on the side of the rock you can build Dino Gates and between the rock and the waterfall spawn Spinos and these crabs , there you can easily tame them . I tested it by myself
if you put a cliff platform underwater on the side of a cliff you can put a well centered moonpolbase on it and the foundations will clip to the platform through the moonpool opening. Then you have nice floors for the underwater cliffplatform base. Then just add more foundations and bases and you can go as big as you want.
I got a 145 crab yesterday so I’ll probably explore the blue area a bit and try and get a good Baryonyx and finally get a role rat before trying to get a rock drake egg. I also need to explore a bit and try and find my way to the drake breeding area.

Best solution to zipline bases is to always have a ravager. I got to show my tribe mate the beauty of Ravagers last night. I have my base in the green zone that's on a big cliff right above the blue zone. To get metal I created a zipline path through the blue zone and connected it to the big branches that leads directly to a huge amount of metal nodes. It is extremely fast and extremely safe. Just don't fall.
I heard him talking about metal and thought I should help out, the blue area is the best for metal. The rocks that have the blue veins are the metal nodes and there is a lot of them down there

You can farm with 2 ankys and a crap holding them. They have to be facing tail out when you grab them with a rider already on. Just pump weight into your crab and you've got a 3 man farming machine
pls tame like 20 eels. They are really good. Just leave them around the base, and if you want to head into the radiation zone and don't have the hazmat suit, you can use them. They also provide unlimited charge for 600 seconds. During that period, they're unkillable. Pls tame a few, and take them to the surface. To activate their affects, just unclaim them.

Tons of Metal for sure, I have a few area's that I get metal.... But I finished the Gama Ascension Yesterday, and I will do the Beta today. It will take a bit longer to do the Alpha though, going to let a queen Reaper do its thing and get a Reaper hahaha Kind of nerve racking thinking about that...Steal a Few Drake Eggs man :) Did the Gama Ascension and I either lost my Drake after I ascended or it got jacked by the butt load of Drakes and Unknown before I got back to it lol Plus you need more than one anyway, so far I can't find a place to build in the Pink area, I have a Staging base about it but that is about it...
I take it not gonna use your Otter since your just levelling it's health, since levelling up melee on them increases their special passive ability. Cause you need charge light, unless you found the featherlight which can just follow you flying about.

You need to learn about zipline etiquette. Never anchor a zipline at a ledge, always allow room for a rider to land safely after disconnecting. Hubs (where more than 2 zipline routes converge) should have an elevated departure platform while way stations (rest stops with one or two ziplines) should be set up to keep traffic on the right hand side. Plan your zipline routes; mark potential anchor points with glow sticks and try for consistent steepness.
if you get attached by a lampray you become immune to the hazerdness area below and you get a charge kight that doesn't run out with only the small effect of losing .1 heath a second

The red nameless summon nameless you cant pick up wild things on an official server but on your if you pick up a red 1 in one claw the beat the new ones with the other claw to gather venom

The majority of the metal nodes dont look like normal ones we are use to. The metal nodes in the bio luminescent have blue streaks in it and they are everywhere. Also most of the rocks in the entrances to the surface is metal as well again dont look like metal nodes we are use to.

Here’s a theory so I watched a video that he connected all of the explorers note that both human and Dino’s wouldn’t survive, so the aliens that controls everything tried to protected humans and Dino’s and that the humans have implants are like cores to humans but, every map has a core the obelisks if we take out the obelisks the planet would do what the cut seen did so to the Dino’s they put implants in the Dino’s each different implants to represent different Dino’s like the bulb dog it’s has a special implant that have glowing lantern. So when we get the implants you die forever but you just die from to much damage not hurting your implant you have to take out the implant forever then that character will never be seen again, so back to it someones trying to destroy extinction that’s why it’s called extinction every map has a behind non touched until aberration and extinction. Rockwell trying to stop what’s ever trying to kill ark and Rockwell doesn’t want us to see it that’s why we have to kill him. And that building with implant on it each map has one just when you destroy it the planet will die it’s it core just like humans. so some pone unknown is trying to kill the arks That’s my theory thanks for reading. yeah, it’s harder and it’s further away from anything useful, the edge and the mushroom forest is easily the best place to live in the fertile chamber
For real though, I can’t go out with seeing about three packs or ravagers and I’m in the “easy” spawn.

small tip if u shot the first zipline close to u then it will be easier to aim it further away

Syntac IF you need Stone and you’re the only player on put the doed on wandering and pick it up with the crab it’s very easy solo farming :)

i was able to find a lot of metal deeper down, where everything glows blue, the weird stone spikes with blue veins have lots of metal

Oh and btw you can attach the new ladders to the edge of the platforms thats like one of the only things it will snap to

Yeah the normal metal nodes have the blue streaks in them, but the Rich Metal Nodes are still all gold and give like 100 metal a rock.
