- Curious what the silver version of the 1V looks like? Look no further. This is the Docomo version, plus the Docomo clear case thingy. The case is actually quite difficult to put on and take off compared to all of the other cases I've used in the past. Enjoy and look out for a lot more content on the 1V coming as well!

These big phone companies have all but killed unboxing videos! "Here's a plain box. There's your phone." And that's it. No accessories anymore, like, at all. It's a real shame. And sony have even stopped putting the really satisfying plastic wrap-around on the phone! 😭😭😭
I remember I even got headphones with my 1II. I miss those days. Thanks Apple!
I hate to say it, but that's what you still get with flagship Chinese phones. A nice box in wrap, a fast charger and a protective case.

I super appreciate you watching as always! The closing photos were some random snaps from today with the 1V! The styles are honestly fun as well. I feel like Sony fixed ALMOST every issue I've had with previous models. But I'll be sure to go over that in more in-depth videos. And of course some night street photography vids!

There is a new firmware update I believe in Japan .197 that should be with you and it's got some additional improvements to the system, the last update did push the video pro and photography pro to the next version. .
All looks a bit sharper to me.
I'll add you have a really good vibe which comes across plus you make it interesting, it's not easy holding an audience that you've never met

I am absolutely in love with the silver. I had the gray 1III as well and I just think this silver is the best they've done it yet. And great idea, I should do a night walk! From the very limited testing I've already done, this is MUCH better at night than the 1IV. Thanks for watching!
Hows your impression on the new main camera? I hope it'd get the new Bokeh mode and 50mm zoom from 5V

Congrats ! the docomo silver looks so good ! i'm still on my sony 5 mark II, i was considering switching to sony 1 IV but it's still very expensive where i live and you said you had overheating issues.. can't wait to see your photographic skills with this beast !

I was having issues with the 1IV, but from the very limited time that I've used the 1V, the thermals are doing muuuuccchhhhh better than on the 1III and 1IV. Thanks again for watching and commenting!

I can second the heating issue on the 1iv. I live in the UK - way colder than morroco and I get the overheating issues here. Particularly when recording in highest quality in the cinema pro and video pro apps - about 5 minutes and it overheats. But it will also just get randomly very hot sometimes. I've had a couple of updates recently and one made it worse and one made it a bit better. Don't get me wrong, I think the 1iv is excellent, and I got it for a super cheap £550 (in purple), so I'm still very happy with it. But! I went to Corfu in June (going again in a couple of weeks) and I believe it got pretty warm! Didn't do much long video recording, mostly shorter clips to stitch together, but I really couldn't record for more than about 4 minutes before the warning message came up. Be interesting to see if the recent updates improve it in a hotter country.... probably not! Also be interesting to see if you can do side by side photos and video between the 1iv and the 1v. Oh, unless you've traded it in. I'm sure you mentioned that in a recent video
I believe the culprit is the android intelligence app , it was disabled a few months back as it was causing excessive background running, the app is useful for predictions and machine learning
I believe since it's recently activated again it's causing heating issues again.
I maybe wrong though, so do take all the above with a pinch of salt.
Just interesting since it's activated again, there are issues , my IV over heated while on a teams video call which it's never done before.
@@MrJules39 I actually went ahead and got the 1V without trading in, so I'm do indeed plan on doing some comparison vids between the IV and V!

Yes I got the official case! I actually really really like it. I love having the side open and buttons uncovered. Protection wise though, not sure if it'd be amazing in the event of a fall
