Very well done! ❤ I was 35 when Disneyland’s parking lot became DCA. I still think of it as Disneyland’s backyard. Disneyland Park is definitely the reason I will travel all the way down there, but I have found DCA to be a great place to chill out when Disneyland is just too much. I don’t go for alcohol. I head straight into Grizzly Peak (or the Grand Californian) for some much needed peace 🌲🌲🌲
Thank you so much for your kind comment ☺️ And I totally thought I was the only one that saw those Mickey ears in the sky. I’m so glad I’m not the only one!
I think of it this way: if DCA didn’t exist, would I still have a pass for Disneyland? Yes, absolutely. If Disneyland didn’t exist, would I go to DCA? Probably not.
I have 40 years of experience visiting, and working at, Disneyland. California Adventure is too small and limited to enjoy for more than a few hours. Disneyland wins because it is filled with much more things to do and see.
Hi, welcome to the comments I don’t wanna count. The popcorn stands are the chero’s but if they’re both definitely spread out still not sure which park I like to eat out the best yet, but I will definitely get back to you here in the comments
SUMMARY: For thrill seekers, _Disney California Adventure_ is better with a more thrill oriented line of attractions than Disneyland. (e.g. Incredicoaster, Grizzly River Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: BREAKOUT! ) Food is typically better at DCA, and crowds are smaller due to Disneyland being more popular. All of this in trade of less to do. (Ride-wise.) Looking for a casual experience? *Disneyland is better.* A more family-based park with more rides, with the small number of thrill rides being much more tame than its neighboring park. (e.g. Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ) It is much richer in history than California Adventure. Seems to focus more on quantity over quality in its rides, especially in the Fantasyland area.
I’m here for the food you said let you know in the comments for me. It’s the turkey like it’s just a winner every time for my family café is awesome too.
Thank you for doing this video! Hopefully, I will be able to visit DL and DCA real soon! I want to spend 4 days at both parks. Without using park hopper, how many days should I spend at DL and DCA to really enjoy the parks? Would one day at DCA and 3 days at DL suffice?
@@howtodisneylanddo you think they’ll finally start construction on the avengers e ticket ride soon? It has been years since they originally announced it😂
GUYS i need your help. I’ve been offered either 2 days at Disneyland and 1 day at DCA or viceversa. Which one would you recommend? I’ve been in both before, but i’m not sure if Disneyland is gonna be underwhelming for 3 adults with more family friendly but classic rides, instead of more modern and extreme rides at DCA. (However, i know that Disneyland is way bigger and being 2 days there, with all of the most popular attractions and longer lines instead, would be better). HELP pleaseee
I just bought disney california even thou we already went to to disneyland 2x and disney california 1x this will be our second makes.me.want to go to disneyland again wondering if i can change our ticket to disneyland
Hi we’re from Florida, so we go to Disney Disney World in our favorite park to eat at is Epcot by far all the different worlds they have in countries, not counting the tacos are the churros and I like Mexico. Please let me know what your favorite country is. Please reply to my comment. Please let me know in a comment. Not counting churros and tacos.
I usually just count the churros as one and popcorn as one since they put both popcorn and churros in almost every land in the parks. The only lands that don’t have churros is Galaxy’s Edge, Toon Town, and SanFransokyo. And the only lands that don’t have popcorn are SanFransokyo, maybe paradise gardens and critter country. Maybe I should do a churro video🤔
Another great video, very informative. All your videos are making our first trip a lot easier to plan, thank you for all your effort.
I’m glad I can help 😊

Same! Grizzly peak is my grounding place. And I remember being so confused when there was another park instead of a parking lot.
I like the way you display this content! Thanks girl, you gained a new follower!
I’m so glad! Thank you for the follow😊
I love your videos!!! Did you see a hidden Mickey in the clouds? 😍 2:12 minutes so cute!!!

That’s a really great way to put it.

I agree. I always end up heading over to Disneyland at some point on my DCA days.

It kind of depends on the ages of everyone going and what time of year. But for me personally one day at DCA is usually enough.

For 2 yr old baby which park should we visit first for experience?
%100 Disneyland proper. Waaaay more 2 yr old friendly rides, food and characters:)
I think they should have just make it all the same park.
I just bought disney california even thou we already went to to disneyland 2x and disney california 1x this will be our second makes.me.want to go to disneyland again wondering if i can change our ticket to disneyland
I’m pretty sure you can switch them. Worst case you could probably call the customer service I’m sure they’d help you out.
@howtodisneyland there's more rides for toddler at disneyland right?
Yes. Way more.
What is disney proper?
Disneyland park itself. Not Disney California adventure park.

I’ve only visited magic kingdom in Disney World sadly but I hear the food in Epcot is the best. I hope to check it out for myself really soon.
Can you please count count the churros in the taco stands please we will definitely let you know in the comments
