- We travelled to Hong Kong in February 2023 from Manila ✈️ and in this video we will share our flight details, immigration experience and documents/requirements.
✈️🇭🇰 As of our travel date (FEB 9-13 2023) vaccinated travellers are allowed entry WITHOUT RAT upon arrival/pre-departure, however according to the Hk government, a self administered RAT before entry is recommended but not obligatory for submission to their website. We self administered a RAT the night before our trip and took a photo of the negative results on our phones incase of a random inspection in Hong Kong. However, no inspection occurred and no one asked for our Vaccine Certificates, but we recommend that you take self precautionary methods for yours and everybody else's safety.

💸 Octopus card was purchased and loaded at the airport, we had ours topped up with 300HKD per card/head, this can be used for transportation, food, shopping etc.
💸 We had our USD exchanged at the airport where most filipinos were having theirs exchanged.
📍Stop 1: Airport to Tsim Sha Tsui via A21 bus, 33HKD/head, get off at Cameron Rd., Luggage storages are available at the first floor of the double decker bus, try your best to be early so you can score the upper deck front seat!
📍Stop 2: From the A21 Bus station where you got off, Hotel is just a few walks away. Time for Check in!

Hi! In our case po, hindi na, pero may mga patrol around hongkong na nag rarandom check, may mga nakita kaming pinoy na na random check for their RAT. Pinakita lang nila phones nila! :)

Hindi na kami hinanapan ng kahit ano, pero may random inspection sa labas around HK, better siguro if may vax cert ka para scan nalang, double check niyo po sa discover hongkong website yung reqs nila sa vaccine para updated baka kasi nag iba po :)

Hi no! But there are random inspections outdoors
Hi! Do you need to be vaccinated?
I believe so but I could be wrong you can check discover hk's official website for the REALTIME updates, but I know that we are still required to have a self administered negative RAT results, even just a photo of it on your phone is enough, you don't need to submit it anywhere but they do have random police checks that asks tourists for their test results and vaccination status, it is best to bring your vaccine card just incase. For non-vaccinated people, they have proper guidelines to follow upon arrival!

Travellers from Taiwan and overseas places
Inbound persons from Taiwan or overseas places, aged 4 or above, are required to conduct a rapid antigen test (RAT, can be self-administered) within 24 hours, or undergo a PCR-based nucleic acid test within 48 hours, prior to the scheduled time of flight departure (if you enter Hong Kong via the airport) or the scheduled time of arrival (if you enter via other boundary control points).
Make sure you have a negative result and keep a photo of the test result for 90 days for inspection on request by Government personnel. You may also voluntarily submit your test result via the Department of Health’s ‘Electronic Health Declaration Form’.
No vaccination requirement is required
Mask is mandated to be worn everywhere at all times.

Parang sa experience namin, wala nag inspect upon arrival pero nag RAT pa din kami the night before our flight and had a negative photo with our faces sa phone. We kept that with us incase ma inspect kami sa HK, kasi meron talaga nag roroam na police tapos may mga pinoy na na random check lalo sa victoria harbour area. Advise ko mag RAT kayo (yung nabibili sa watsons na saliva based test) tapos pag negative, picturan niyo na hawak niyo tas keep niyo lang sa phone niyo yung pic. :) ENJOY HK!!!!!

she kept asking lang kung saan kami nag work tapos nairita na ako sa tanong ng tanong sabi ko may coe ako gusto ba niya kako, ayaw naman niya hahahha wala na po iba hinanap, di rin hinanapan ng VL kasi alam niyang work from home kami :)

Hi Rowena! For normal returning filipino tourists, parang hindi na, but have a photo sa cp mo of your RAT Antigen negative result taken day before flight incase ma random inspect ka. Bring your vaxcert rin sakali

wala na! but pls know that there are random inspections sa public places in HK by their own officers, i still suggest you comply and bring necessary docs if ever ma tyempuhan ka, kami naman hindi but we saw a lot of tourists esp sa victoria harbor na na inspect :) see discover hongkong's website for the latest!
