One scene that stuck with me is when Jae-mi was telling Kari, Bong suk and Heung's mom,how she finally learned her real birthday which was also the day she was abandoned. Then everyone was cursing her parents out and they automatically had her back and each wanted to take revenge for her. She was an orphan her whole life and now she somehow has people by her side. It was so sweet and touching
all of the scenes are my favorite but i especially liked when jaemi pushed him into the river and he said " why is my life good when its about to end, it makes me want to stay"
My fav scene was from episode 4, the last 4 minutes, where Hae-jo consoles Jae-mi while she is crying, at the same time he is trying his best to hold back his tears✨ It showed their unshattering love and care towards each other even after a long gap💞 Woo do-hwan was just raised his level of a matured and talented actor in that scene.❤

As Mr. Plankton is slowly but surely progressing to possibly be my favorite k-Drama of all time, i have many scenes i loved. But what stuck with me was when Haejo was beating up the second possible father candidate and losing himself in his pain. When Jaemi started comforting him and later on at the harbor refuses to leave him, i felt like these two are meant to be. The writing was so beautiful but the actors did an impeccable job - it will take very long to find another k-drama couple with such amazing chemistry.
The drama is beautiful with so many fav scenes, but the scene when hea jo takes a photo of jae mi and the look in his eyes, the whole emotions he did go through that time like he was so happy for the memories but yet sad , the thought of not being able to see her smile anytime, Its a sad scene, but am happy that he could create beautiful moments with her before his last breath 💔

My favorite scene absolutely destroyed me. It was when Hae Jo was in a coma, and Jae Mi finally got to see him. She remembered his dream about dying outside while looking at the sky, so she carried him with her tiny body, only to fulfill his last wish. It really showed how much she could do for him and how far she was willing to go for him

One was when Haejo and her sister talks about Plankton while watching the sunset and the second one was Haejo and Jaemi stargazed at night cuddling w/ each other. Simple yet holds a lot of meaning especially Haejo's answer and story in both scenes. I was able to deeply understand the meaning of the title of the drama as well as the plot and also the lessons I've learned about FAMILY, LOVE, and LIFE. I have a lot favorite scenes, the one I felt so heartfelt was the scene where Hae Jo met and ran and hugged his dad again. I cried for him because despite he looked for his biological father and to no avail he finally realized he only wanted that father all along. i love when hae jo sees through jae mis laughter and tells ger to just cry in the cabin. then when shes sobbing he comforts her and makes the mushroom potato comment. when he struggles and tries to stifle his own tears it hit so hard. i suffer from chronic pain and have done exactly that so many times. but i also love all the scenes at the end with the snow. both happy and sad. winter is my favourite season and messin about in the snow is one of the times where i feel truly present and grounded in this world. this drama made me cry so much. 💙

The moment in the last episode when Hae Jo meets his father again. That reunion scene had me in tears, which some of the following moments did as well. It was very masterfully done.
My favorite is when haejo realized he missed his father and come up to his father house, and then hugging each other. The dialog was so simple yet very emotional. I can't stand my tears for this scene

My favorite scene actually one of the most heart breaking scenes in this drama ... it's when Jae mi was punching Hae jo after heung went unconscious but she didn't know about his illness and he collapsed... it's stuck in my brain 😭
My favorite scene is when Heung received a shoe from Hae-jo and then collected it with the other shoe to return them as a complete pair to Jae-mi. He was definitely brave for doing that. He did that because he truly loved Jae-mi, so he set her free and hoped she would be happy with her true partner, who is Hae-jo. So this character is very intersting and impressive to me, as he made such a breakthrough in his life, disobeyed his mother and was so generous and sympathetic!
i have so many favourites... but the one where she's bawling her eyes out after she kidnaps him from the hospital and he wakes up and starts yapping in confusion, the relief and happiness with which she screams. plus he was so unbothered about it too like just laughing with her 😭😭🤣

I love every single scene in this kdrama, but my top three are: -Hae Jo asking Jae Mi out, it was so smooth and it was like they just knew they were meant for each other -Hae Jo reuniting with his dad and hugging him. They way we saw adult Hae Jo, teenage Hae Jo and child Hae Jo in that one hug absolutely broke me -Lastly, when Hae Jo was looking at his friends from afar as they drank and has fun, the look in his eyes made this kdrama not too sad for me
Whole series is my favourite. Because it teach me so much about life which is most appreciating. Value of family, mother, father, happiness. Cruelty of luck . People staying their side to bad time. Value of love where comfort and happiness exists. The story is a mixture of miscellaneous viz love, bad time, good time, realisation, destination, value of family, feeling of growing alone with no parents.
When I first saw the shorts, the most memorable scene for me, was Jae-mi flipping the bird at Haejo as she's trying to run away while he's driving beside her! 🤣😂😂😂It's such a Hollywood thing to do, that it caught me off guard and made me laugh out loud!
My favorite was when Jae Mi snatched Hae Jo from the hospital and sat him next to the bus station begging not to leave her. I got goosebumps from how much desperation Jae Mi showed 😭

Honestly, I cannot seem to decide a fav scene cause the whole series was sooo beautiful, it was the perfect mixture of comedy romance and emotions ! This has been the only K drama that I've been drawn to since the start and the characters have been acted out so well by the actors that it almost feels like their real self... In conclusion I'm just in love with this drama and it's actors
My favourite scene was the final episode, it was fun to see how much fun they had on the snowfield, but it was also very emotional but im glad that the ladt scene of hae jo's life was jae mi and she has to continue sadly the journey without him
This was a difficult series to watch for me due to the intense emotions portrayed but at the end of the series I was in love with all the characters as you get to understand them a bit more and maybe forgive them. It is beautiful in its own way.

At first heaju tells us the different story of his parents leaving him when he was only 8, but at we come to know story was different,the mother he lost, the mother he found, the ending scene with his father was really truly emotional, his real father who brought him to this world, the he saw the his graduation degree ( i felt so angry like time was playing with him) i thought what will that haeju will feel who was waiting for his father,who stayed hungry fr whole week, his ending was not predictable it really felt bomb can blast anytime Haeju and jamei final travel felt like a dream they wished to live forever ❤ His death time when he said he wants to live more ( the moment jamei was still running i was like don't die wait for 2 second)(the moment she reached) he accepts his death with big smile ❤ while saying his life was completed The haejo i felt really related to him emotionally a very strong build character ( doowon deserve best actor award) Last but not the list the queen California dream 🎉❤ Plz like my cmt even after many years i would love to re -watch This Lots of love ❤
OK, watching this, I realize I have to rewatch the entire series. It was THAT good. Love all of the characters, but especially the three leads. I am new to kDramas, but I am diving in happily.

This is a beautiful beautiful drama. My Goodness, it tugs at your heart strings. I've always loved Woo Do-hwan since I saw him in the King Eternal, a truly exceptional actor, oh and the FL is wonderful. The whole cast were top notch. I love how Kdramas evoke the strongest of emotions and you're left there sobbing and wanting to go adopt as much kids as possible and shower them with the best possible love you can give.😢😢
You-mi is so beautiful and talented, her features are so unique🖤 does she remind anyone else of rango’s girlfriend from rango😅😅my favorite scene is when Jae mi stops hae jo from beating up his “father” and they cry in each others arms. when I started watching Mr. Plankton, i was unprepared for this emotional rollercoaster ride. i just thought it would be entertaining, funny, strange and cheesy. that's exactly what it is, but it's so much more. there's one scene I just can't forget - when Jae-mi and Hae-Jo are lying in the hospital bed and she dreams about him waking up from his coma - when she wants to go to call the doctor, he says: "No, don't. Stay here. It's so nice with you. Well, except for the view. Up there, the ceiling. This is the last thing most people see before they take their last breath. The white ceiling of a hospital. Isn't that terrible?' she wakes up from her dream and remembers the dialogue with him when he broke up with her: Jae-Mi “You will be lonely all your life and die alone on the streets.” Hae-Jo “This is my dream. Dying while looking at the blue sky." then she does something to fulfill his wish, it's crazy and desperate, it seems grotesque. but it shows her love for him, her strong will, her courage and the hope that she can do something for him before the inevitable happens. and being able to spend more time with him. i wish I had been as strong as Jae-Mi back then maybe then he would still be alive you beautiful, half-blind but proudly walking chaos you desperately heart driven damn human being wherever you are, don't stop making your bad jokes and keep influencing the multiverse I love you i'm sorry for writing so much and sharing these thoughts, but this has been on my mind for some time this series just triggered a lot love y'all! live the best life!💓

Do-hwan is the next Ji Chang Wook! This man is gorgeous, can play a variety of characters, can fight, be funny, be nice, be sexy...etc. He demanded my attention in The King Eternal. 😍😂🥰 It's unfortunate for me that I can't get into this actress at all. She brings no appeal, so watching this, the emotions are not as strong as it would if I liked her more. Jung-se is yet again in a 3-way with the leads. 😂

I haven't watched it yet because I had become so invested in their story while enjoying clips, but the moment I learned of the ML's death I was done. I instantly wanted to petition the writers for an additional episode ( or two lol) with a happy ending. Now I can't even bring myself to watch it knowing that my heart will be broken.
It’s your choice honestly. But I still suggest you watch it. For people considering this show with clips, it was not obvious. But anyone who started the show knew. We’re shown the scene of his death 40 SECONDS into the show. This drama is so different from so many “sad ending” drama I’ve seen before. I almost hate that fact that’s it considered a “sad ending”. It made me grow emotionally in ways that I never expected. The sadness didn’t break me but actually build me up. I suggest you make that courageous step and watch it nonetheless. There’s a reason these 3 main actors gave up everything to shoot this drama.

I just finished this series, and I really loved it. It's hard to pick just one favorite scene because each scene is intertwined with the next or the last one. I guess the last part of episode 10, when they both accepted they their journey was meant to be done together, regardless of how long they were going to be in each other's lives. I loved how each character had a resolution, and Jaemi had a family in the end. Still such a sad ending.

The moment in the last episode when Hae Jo meets his father again. That reunion scene had me in tears, which some of the following moments did as well. It was very masterfully done.
My favorite is when haejo realized he missed his father and come up to his father house, and then hugging each other. The dialog was so simple yet very emotional. I can't stand my tears for this scene

I have 2 fav scenes , one is when Jae mi was hospitalized Hae Jo carried her shoe with him like a crazy lover and kept missing her.. and the second one when they were back together , Jae mi was at the house balcony and Hae Jo was walking but still he was there and kept looking at her in really cute and admiring way..❤❤❤️

My favorite scene is when Heung received a shoe from Hae-jo and then collected it with the other shoe to return them as a complete pair to Jae-mi. He was definitely brave for doing that. He did that because he truly loved Jae-mi, so he set her free and hoped she would be happy with her true partner, who is Hae-jo. So this character is very intersting and impressive to me, as he made such a breakthrough in his life, disobeyed his mother and was so generous and sympathetic!
i have so many favourites... but the one where she's bawling her eyes out after she kidnaps him from the hospital and he wakes up and starts yapping in confusion, the relief and happiness with which she screams. plus he was so unbothered about it too like just laughing with her 😭😭🤣

I love every single scene in this kdrama, but my top three are:
-Hae Jo asking Jae Mi out, it was so smooth and it was like they just knew they were meant for each other
-Hae Jo reuniting with his dad and hugging him. They way we saw adult Hae Jo, teenage Hae Jo and child Hae Jo in that one hug absolutely broke me
-Lastly, when Hae Jo was looking at his friends from afar as they drank and has fun, the look in his eyes made this kdrama not too sad for me
Whole series is my favourite. Because it teach me so much about life which is most appreciating. Value of family, mother, father, happiness. Cruelty of luck . People staying their side to bad time. Value of love where comfort and happiness exists. The story is a mixture of miscellaneous viz love, bad time, good time, realisation, destination, value of family, feeling of growing alone with no parents.
When I first saw the shorts, the most memorable scene for me, was Jae-mi flipping the bird at Haejo as she's trying to run away while he's driving beside her! 🤣😂😂😂It's such a Hollywood thing to do, that it caught me off guard and made me laugh out loud!
My favorite was when Jae Mi snatched Hae Jo from the hospital and sat him next to the bus station begging not to leave her. I got goosebumps from how much desperation Jae Mi showed 😭
My fav scene is actually not from one that main leads play rather it is the one in last episode when Eo heung’s mother tells John to be her second son and he agrees

Honestly, I cannot seem to decide a fav scene cause the whole series was sooo beautiful, it was the perfect mixture of comedy romance and emotions ! This has been the only K drama that I've been drawn to since the start and the characters have been acted out so well by the actors that it almost feels like their real self...

My favourite scene was the final episode, it was fun to see how much fun they had on the snowfield, but it was also very emotional but im glad that the ladt scene of hae jo's life was jae mi and she has to continue sadly the journey without him
This was a difficult series to watch for me due to the intense emotions portrayed but at the end of the series I was in love with all the characters as you get to understand them a bit more and maybe forgive them. It is beautiful in its own way.

The show was full of roller coaster ride of emotions,the happiness,sadness,cursity,i felt cursing words was like heaven fr first time in my life
The main thing kept the show ongoing was next thing that know knew. At first heaju tells us the different story of his parents leaving him when he was only 8, but at we come to know story was different,the mother he lost, the mother he found, the ending scene with his father was really truly emotional, his real father who brought him to this world, the he saw the his graduation degree ( i felt so angry like time was playing with him) i thought what will that haeju will feel who was waiting for his father,who stayed hungry fr whole week, his ending was not predictable it really felt bomb can blast anytime
Haeju and jamei final travel felt like a dream they wished to live forever ❤
His death time when he said he wants to live more ( the moment jamei was still running i was like don't die wait for 2 second)(the moment she reached) he accepts his death with big smile ❤ while saying his life was completed
The haejo i felt really related to him emotionally a very strong build character ( doowon deserve best actor award)

OK, watching this, I realize I have to rewatch the entire series. It was THAT good. Love all of the characters, but especially the three leads. I am new to kDramas, but I am diving in happily.

This is a beautiful beautiful drama. My Goodness, it tugs at your heart strings. I've always loved Woo Do-hwan since I saw him in the King Eternal, a truly exceptional actor, oh and the FL is wonderful. The whole cast were top notch. I love how Kdramas evoke the strongest of emotions and you're left there sobbing and wanting to go adopt as much kids as possible and shower them with the best possible love you can give.😢😢

when I started watching Mr. Plankton, i was unprepared for this emotional rollercoaster ride.
i just thought it would be entertaining, funny, strange and cheesy.
that's exactly what it is, but it's so much more.
there's one scene I just can't forget - when Jae-mi and Hae-Jo are lying in the hospital bed and she dreams about him waking up from his coma -
when she wants to go to call the doctor, he says: "No, don't. Stay here. It's so nice with you. Well, except for the view. Up there, the ceiling.
This is the last thing most people see before they take their last breath. The white ceiling of a hospital. Isn't that terrible?'
she wakes up from her dream and remembers the dialogue with him when he broke up with her:
Jae-Mi “You will be lonely all your life and die alone on the streets.”
Hae-Jo “This is my dream. Dying while looking at the blue sky."
then she does something to fulfill his wish, it's crazy and desperate, it seems grotesque.
but it shows her love for him, her strong will, her courage and the hope that she can do something for him before the inevitable happens.
and being able to spend more time with him.
i wish I had been as strong as Jae-Mi back then

Do-hwan is the next Ji Chang Wook! This man is gorgeous, can play a variety of characters, can fight, be funny, be nice, be sexy...etc. He demanded my attention in The King Eternal. 😍😂🥰

I haven't watched it yet because I had become so invested in their story while enjoying clips, but the moment I learned of the ML's death I was done. I instantly wanted to petition the writers for an additional episode ( or two lol) with a happy ending. Now I can't even bring myself to watch it knowing that my heart will be broken.
It’s your choice honestly. But I still suggest you watch it. For people considering this show with clips, it was not obvious. But anyone who started the show knew. We’re shown the scene of his death 40 SECONDS into the show. This drama is so different from so many “sad ending” drama I’ve seen before. I almost hate that fact that’s it considered a “sad ending”. It made me grow emotionally in ways that I never expected. The sadness didn’t break me but actually build me up. I suggest you make that courageous step and watch it nonetheless. There’s a reason these 3 main actors gave up everything to shoot this drama.

I just finished this series, and I really loved it. It's hard to pick just one favorite scene because each scene is intertwined with the next or the last one. I guess the last part of episode 10, when they both accepted they their journey was meant to be done together, regardless of how long they were going to be in each other's lives. I loved how each character had a resolution, and Jaemi had a family in the end. Still such a sad ending.
