Stan's birthday is coming up this weekend, as is his party, so when I mentioned it on Instagram, quite a few of you asked if I'd share what I am including and I thought I would to be helpful!

I'm a 35 year-old mum of three, who lives in Cheshire, in the UK, and this is my small part of the online world, where I share parts of my life - whether that's the day-to-day stuff, motherhood, recipes, or all that other stuff that makes me, me. I'm married to Mark, who is honestly my best mate, and we have three children, Bill, Daisy and Stanley, and they seem to be growing up so darn fast these days. We have a golden retriever called Merlin, and two cats called Romeo and Elsa and...hang on, this is sounding a bit like a kid's essay at school isn't it? Sorry about that! I have the tendency to ramble a bit. Life did not go to plan for me, but I am very grateful for that, otherwise I wouldn't be where I am today.
As for this channel, you might find everything from food videos, clothing hauls, home updates, vlogs now and again, and some topics close to my heart, such as coparenting, mental health, hearing loss and Stickler Syndrome too. I am a very average mum, but I try my absolute best at whatever I do, and hopefully you enjoy following along!

Don't do the bouncy balls Char, they're perfect choking size. There's a sweet soul who lost his life day before his 3rd birthday because of one of these balls, it's tragic. I literally ban these in my home, having 4 kiddos I refuse to have them, in the bin before we reach the house. Too dangerous as once they're in their throat you can't get them out!
But the rest for the bags look like good fun x

Thanks for sharing Charlotte, I did a wooden Lanka kade animal toy with a thank you tag tied around the neck for each child at my son and daughters joint party! 2.50ish per child and something a bit different! Loved your ideas xx
I love those bags. I used them for my twins 6th birthday in Dec. Lovely to label them too. We added a small Cadbury selection box, bubbles and a make your own card tiara/superhero mask! X

We are throwing a party for our 5 yr old. It’s quite possibly so stressful 😂. Invited the whole class, still waiting for RSVP on so many kids from parents 😬😬.

My daughter will be 1 soon and I’d love to do a bag or present for her friends but no idea when they are this young?! A book teddy etc? 😂
This reminds me of when I used to do the kids’ stockings when they were babies! How about a little baby-friendly snack, chocolate buttons, balloon as they are always fun at that age and then a little That’s Not My… book! xx

Agree on the cake part! We’ve done a Colin the Caterpillar before then bought mini ones to send home. No cutting fuss and no cake smooshed and spoiled in napkins… win!

This was so helpful it's my daughters birthday party in 2 weeks so I'll be ordering some stuff you've suggested! But the best thing I took from this was the cake idea, honestly feel like you've just made part of the party soooooo much easier x
These are always a problem to decide what to use. But, it surely keeps the Middleton family business going, selling all party goods. At least we know to eliminate what we just saw at three other parties. LOL. You are always so good at these things.

I’m sure the kids will love these party bags, and I’m sure all sensible parents will know to supervise their children. My kids love bouncy balls and all things plastic tat and sweets. 😂
My sons teachers give out bouncy ball etc as rewards 😅 you Karen’s need to calm down and teach your kids not to put things in their mouths other than food and drink 😅 there are accidents happening everyday with kids it’s inevitable. A kids died from eating a grape do we stop selling and buying grapes . No .
