I stay to the very end watching every second of your video you always do such a wonderful job sharing everything with us and such great stories from the past. I remember going to the grocery store and I’m sure you remember because we’re not that difference in age you would go and you would have to buy so much groceries and you would get one piece from the dinnerware I never collected it because I didn’t think I would have enough to get a set of dishes. But I did buy a set of silverware a one time set one set it a time
I remember the grocery stores doing promotions for dishes but I wasn’t sure about dishes being in boxes of detergent when you bought their brand. I was surprised that a few ladies commented that their moms and grandmas had told them the same story about dishes coming in boxes of detergent. I remember the excitement of green and blue chip stamps. Filling up all the pages of redemption books and the fun it was to finally have enough for what you wanted. I really got some cute things with those stamps. Fun memories😘

I, Love,Love, Love tea parties. I go to tearooms wherever I visit. My one sister has tea party ever other year for all my sisters and their children. And hers is so Beautiful and we all go home with a gift. One time she made us all hats to wear and then sent them home with us. She always has tea books out for us to read. She has a little prayer we all say before we eat. I fell very special at teaparties. I am the oldest of 6 of us girls.their is 19 of us all together. Oh Annalee I just love your blouse. Your centerpiece is stunning, and I would like to recommend that you consider doing a video on your process to create a centerpiece. The last video I watched had the centerpiece with the tangerines at the base, and you really have a gift for arranging.

Some have worked out better than others. I hope to one day have enough experience in putting them together that it will require less time and decision making for the final arrangement for my table. I have an abundance of flowers to choose from. Some are high end while others from local stores in the area. I have been watching videos and have learned from them. Hopefully, with experience, I’ll be able to have an opportunity to video the process. I have a big variety of vases gifted, bought and those treasures passed on from my mom and grandmother. The Victorian tea party table scape is sooooo awesome! It feels like a tea party after the garden walkabout. We have some gardens where I live that are from this Era and have an old home converted into a tea house decorated in Victorian Era style they are so lovely. The goblets are amazing

What a gorgeous table, so elegant and feminine. And yes, during the depression they gave away dishes in laundry detergent. I believe gas stations also have away dinner pieces. Many of those are now collectibles.
