After you see your clip refill (like if you had 10 bullets left out of 30, and then you see the number jump back to 30), melee bash then immediately shoot and it will basically cut the reload animation short
Ammo and Weight. Railgun has 40 shots, which is 40 scrakes or 20 FPs compared to the 21 of M99. Also due to weight, M99 loadout's only secondary options are on perk single magnum or offperk deagle/other single pistols. With an upgraded railgun, you can carry an SPX or other offperk weapons like the ump.
I find with the extra damage from the m99, you can afford to take tac reload instead of ReU, making the single magnum an actually pretty excellent sidearm.
I suggest you check out ALL the stats from both guns on the wiki, I love the M99 as a gun in general but , considering that railgun has an upgrade too while M99 doesn't, compare the stats for both. In all departments, weight,money, damage, reload, stumble/stun,penetration and so many more the railgun wins hands down.Such a shame because the difference is so big it makes you wonder why M99 is even there....I hope Tripwire fixes this.
@@giorgospapadopoulos7033 Yeah there are many weapons that need to be reworked especially the weight on many guns being too heavy and not as useful. I'm still salty about the double barrel nerf, I used to use it all the time but now there's not much point in using it over the better semi shotguns.
