Having seen Niagara from both US/Canada, Canadian side is much better. From US side you get a lateral view, whereas its flat/panoramic view from Canadian side. The only thing about US side is better Indian restaurants, although US side of Niagara is bit relatively shady. But overall Canada is a boring place if you are looking for long journey. Roads are bad, highways are boring and so is the terrain. I have been to Alberta and BC mountains. Road trips in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. In Jaunary, you cannot go to any part of Canada whereas if you live in US, Florida, South Carolina, Hawaii, Arizona, Georgia - all options are open. In fact, in Jaunary/Feb, in Florida, rental properties are full of cars with Ontario and Quevec number plates. When I lived in US, I was big fan of road trips and scenic drives but nothing like that exists in Canada. Most country roads in Canada are broken and rustic. Food and overall people are not too good. Whereas in US, road trips are fun. Good country roads, good Airbnb in middle of nowhere, varying geography, good food and nice people.

Mom and Harmeet should have gone for the boat ride. Mom itni door se aayi hain, next year pe kyun dal diya. Boat ride would have been the highlight of her visit. smh.

Total duration including the wait time is 4 hours on weekend. Cant leave baby and manpreet alone for that duration plus mother cant go in cold weather
