Sorry I forgot to give you guys the props you deserve!! I listen to and watch ALL MotoGP pods and because of the people on this one being so integrated with MotoGP for so many years…this one is the best. Keith…I still miss your voice on the air!!
The MM genie is out of the bottle. Never used to like him much, but the mature version of him is so likeable I'm a fan. The Italians must have been torn, an Italian team, with an Italian bike won with Marc on top of it.
IMO it also indicates that Ducati may be helping him more than earlier in the season. Pecco and Marquez will be the focus of improving the GP24 & GP23, respectively. Martin and Bastianini will undoubtedly have access to the GP24 parts, but if they are intended to help Pecco may not be of much use to them.
Each GP23 is the same. It’s the Ducati policy, if one bike would get upgrades, everyone will have to receive the same parts. He’s been the only GP23 close to GP24 since the beginning of the season, more experience for him, team found some settings. Just it, there’s no sense to looking for the BS that he’s getting something special from Ducati. Pecco is focused in some kind of development GP24 to become GP25 but GP23 is developed bike already.
@@sburns2421 According to contracts, if you modify one GP23, you have to modify all of them. So yes, he is still riding the same bike Pecco and Martin rode in Qatar last year. With some personalization parts. The Ducati brakes they were using wasn't suiting Marc's braking style, so they have a new part for that.
@@sburns2421 That's because you don't know what you are talking about. All riders have personalized parts. Martin recently talked about using a "part" he wasn't using before that the other GP24s have been using after the crash in Germany. They don't force all the riders to use the same brake lever. Some parts riders have a preference. These don't come under development. Those are bound by contract.
I think Pecco and Martin are starting to realise what they have on their hands now with MM. Pecco was surprised Marc gapped him in the race in my opinion.
Naaah he said he wasn’t as brave as Marc and with 4-5 laps he lost concentration, started feeling the pain from the Aragon crash and decided to settle for second

You folks are brilliant! Great to see Steve, much missed on MotoGP. Once again, I'm happily surprised by Marc. We need Yamaha to get their act together so Marc & Fabio can pick up where they left off in 2019!
Massive fan of Marc now we can see his personality he's such a lovable character! My only thing I think listening to everything is pecco really doesn't get the credit what a performance with the injury he's got to bring home 2nd you could see after the race he had nothing left. Also I think Marc could take this championship if they're not careful as he will risk more than anybody else!
I assume in the end Pecco will be champion in 2024. That is three. 2025 & 2026 are what I am interested with Bagnaia. Imagine he beats Marquez for one of both of those championships. You would have to consider him among the "second tier best" premier class GP riders ever. In the same sentence with Doohan, Lawson, Roberts, Rainey, Stoner. He reminds the most of Lawson, just this consistent machine that maximizes points every round.
I have an unanswered question. Back in April at the Jerez test he tried a thumb rear brake but didn't use although advised to by Ducati. Did he ever race with it?
No radios - please. Have raced 2 and 4 wheels with radios and the thing I have observed is that the team with the biggest budget makes the most advances.
