I always come back to this video as it makes me nostalgic of a love that I have not even experienced, I always cry watching this. It makes me sad to see that people who truly love each other cannot be together because of the sad reality of this world where something pure is destroyed.

Acabo de ver la película y la amé. No suelen gustarme mucho las pelis románticas, pero ésta es hermosa y el Teniente Bruno es el hombre perfecto. Se nota lo profundamente enamorado que ésta de Lucille, todo lo que hace por ella, todo lo que hace para que ella no lo rechace, para pasar tiempo junto a ella y ayudarla a pesar de que él es un oficial Nazi de alto rango. I saw the movie just because of this and every bit of it was worth watching! Sometime you just need that other soul with you to live a little longer but entire world conspires to take it from you! You are only left with lot of grief, pain and emptiness! This story is an epitome of love and compassion
If we are chosen in our lives and are given the experience to have true love in our lives, we are blessed to have experienced those magical feelings. This story is heartbreaking but I seemed to be drawn back every time I see it. I pray these two can be united once again in this life time or latter. Count yourself lucky to have experienced pure love in your life.

Ognuna di queste attraverso i personaggi cosi ben interpretati racconta del uomo dei suoi sentimenti nobili come delle sue meschinità fino alla perversione morale, racconta di una società umana dove la disuguaglianza fra il povero e il ricco fa la diffetenza e permane anche oggi seppur in una situazione non così tragica ma comunque come una grave colpa. È un film complesso forse più di quello che sembrerebbe a una prima visione. Leggerò il libro da cui è yratto il film. Complimenti al regista, agli attori comprimari e non che mi hanno profondamente emozionato

I there are so many factors in life that step in and tear the lovers apart, like WW II in this story. On another level I hope they are reunited in heaven, or in another lifetime.
