Namaskar, I am Ashish Vidyarthi.

As an Indian film actor, I have worked in over 230+ films across 11 languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam, English, Marathi, Odia/Oriya, Assamese and Bhojpuri cinema) to name a few: Drohkaal; Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin, Ziddi, Dhill, Bichhoo, C.I.D. Moosa, Ghilli, Pokiri, Kanthaswamy, Barfi, Minugurulu, Haider, Teenkahon , Rudra, Raktanchal 2, Khufiya & many more.

For regular, hygienic and tasty veg food... Southern Karnataka is heaven... Quickly we can find a udupi hotel or a darshini at any street .... quickly we get food on counter, enjoy it standing food table, Self service... No where we get such hotel business in other states of India...
Unfortunately as per ayurveda you shouldn’t stand and eat. Truly no where you get to stand and eat. Esp hotels in Kerala and Tamilnadu - you sit and eat. (Ignore fastfood chains)
Ashish you have reinvented yourself so gracefully and started an amazing journey. People love you and you love people what a lovely memories to cherish. 👍🏻
I used to go this shop for Idly when I was a student at Indian Institute of Science (1977-1982) which is located close by.

The Soft Idly receipe has been kept as a secret till date. Rajajinagar bengaluru Ram mandir shop, hubli, Madura Colony and this shop. I once dared to ask the recepie, how do they make it but response was " Are you happy with the Idli, I said Yes, they said eat as much as you want and enjoy your Idli. 🤣

Used to eat at veena stores when it was a small shop next to Dr Leela Rao s hospital on Margosa road i think if my memory serves me right, the sevige bhat was the best.

Thank u, I used to have breakfast daily at veena stores at least for a week as my wife was admitted to Dr. Leela Hospital for Delivery 25 years back and now my Son has grown up to become a good software engineer with a top MNC in Bangalore. Really feeling very Nostalgic and remembering all those days when it was a small shop nearby I did not even have a clue that it would be the most sought after food outlet for all of us Bangaloreans. They have done a great job and retained the same old tasty food. God Bless all.

It is that small and mouth watering eateries, who serve wonderful breakfast , they are all over Bengaluru, be it push cart or 100 sqft small place, they are unique, the best part though, their pieces are very reasonable, while there is daily raise in essentials, thanks to all those who serve good food to all.
