I'm so pleased you tried the curly girl method. It gives so much more volume for us with thinner hair 😃 I think that's great for a first attempt! It takes a while to figure it out and give you root volume. If you persevere, you will get quicker. 😘

Congrats on your 25 years, something really worth celebrating. Good to see you with curly hair, such a difference. I've got fine curly frizzy hair and discovered Cantu when I was visiting England last time, I couldn't believe how good it is, after trying so many over the years. I do it slightly differently to you, I pin my hair up after I rinse my conditioner and dry myself off, then my hair is still soaking wet, I put about a 20 pence piece amount of Cantu through my hair, scrunching it through, I don't bother to dry off with a t shirt, I just sit with my hairdryer on low speed (I can't stand how slow the diffuser is) and I scrunch and aim the dryer into my hand whilst scrunching tightly. It doesn't leave a cast, just leaves my hair really curly and smooth. It still takes a while but not as long as with a diffuser. I usually wear it curly in the summer because of the humidity making my hair frizz. It is quicker to straighten though.

Hi Nisha , please go to an independent vet,avoid corporate vets they are all about the money and imo not always putting the animals needs first.My husbands a retired vet who had his own independent vets surgery for 45 years( he retired last year) and he will always say the same thing.Sadly the public aren't always aware of this... I have super fine straight hair and I was talking to some one about it and she told me she uses Aussie Mega hold spray/scrunch. So when my hair is about 90 dry I spray my and scrunch it. Another trick is take your damp hair in a net and the spray it and sleep with your sprayed hair on the net and that works good too. Congratulations on your anniversary!
My hair got curls when I got older , I use product ,let it air dry and keep scrunching,then I back comb a bit. This way not using heating tools. I also straighten it a lot too! Happy Anniversary❤

Find a new Vet. They probably allowed an asst. to do the dental. I have been n RVT for 35 yrs. I've seen it. The person who did his dental is probably new at it. That's a lot of money. Please get a new Vet. One who cares about animals. If a vet rolled her eyes at me, I would have ripped her. They charge way way too much money for what they do. I've worked in the Veterinary community since I was 19 years old. I'm 64 now. Get a new vet!!! Poor Louie. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I took my dog to the breeder recommended Vet, she was nasty and complained German Shepherd's are a stupid dog!! Needless to say, we never went back!! She phoned to say she was ready to go home, and when we got there, she could barely stand, had just had a big abdominal cut and was staggering around!!!😡😡😡 people like that shouldn't even Be Vets!!! We take her back to our old Vets, who when we have lost a pet, or had to put one down, are lovely, even send you a condolence card! ❤

I did the scrunching diffuser thing decades ago. Never knew it had a name! Looked too unruly on me to try it these days but, back then, wild big hair was the thing! You were able to get a nicer controlled curl than I could. It looks good! I recall it being a lot of work though, and it hurt my arms and hands to scrunch and diffuse quite long hair back then. Having seen how nice yours is I might try it again now that my hair is shorter.🤔
Your hair looks so nice. I had straight hair my entire life. In 2020 during the pandemic it went curly! I am 63 years old and don't know what happened. Not really happy but accepting it. Happy anniversary ❤

Love the waves! After your hair dries, use a silk scarf to scrunch out the gel. It's easier on the hair and prevents frizz. You can also diffuse with your head inverted while drying..it helps to create body and height on the crown. ❤

Happy Anniversary and I love your hair. Mine was always stick straight and as I have gotten older it now has a lot of waves, so I can wear it curly or straighten it. I have notices it is a lot frizzier when I when I blow dry.
The shape of our hair follicles can change from round which produce’s straight hair and oval which produces wavy or curly hair. Hormones can play a part as well. I had stick straight fine textured hair all my life. In my early sixties I noticed a wave pattern after washing my hair. I remembered years ago in Cosmetology school learning this.

Hi Nisha I was exactly the same. Never knew mine was curly until I had a layered cut. Love it unless I want it straight as it always wants to curl. Especially as I live a humid Australia city.
Nisha & Paul ~ Happy 25th! God grant you many years! Definitely talk to the vet. When he/she sees that tooth it'll be readily apparent that something went awry during his procedure. I'm sorry that they'll likely have to repeat it. The infection has to be taken care of. Nisha, your wavy hair looks adorable on you. I know you weren't going for 'adorable' but it's such a youthful, carefree look! The best! It takes getting used to ~ the process, I mean. I scrunch while flipped over & I use the diffuser all over. Then I flip upright & let my hair air-dry, no longer scrunching until it's totally dry. Then I flip over & just lightly massage the roots for lift. When I flip back I scrunch out the crunch for the most part. The next morning I just spritz lightly with water, scrunch a little with gel or mousse & the products reactivate. Like you, I didn't realize my hair was wavy until 15 yrs ago. I always thought of it as "wrinkled" and spent way too much time trying to straighten it. Wavy hair does look fuller, and it softens the face too. Yours is so pretty!
Nisha! You are beautiful! I used to do the curly girl method! I have slightly wavy hair when I do the curly girl method, and it made my hair look fuller. My hair was thinning due to thyroid issues , my thyroid was treated and hair grew back. I must be having more issues with my thyroid because my hair is thinning again. I may need to revisit the girly girl method!
How fun with your curly hair. Before my hair became so thin, I used to do that sometimes. Now I wear wigs. I understand about dogs and their teeth. I took my dog in for a procedure, and I said to clean her teeth while she was under. It had been a year. They pulled all her teeth, saying they were all bad. I was so upset and didn't believe them. Plus 800.00 dollars later. ... I hope Louie is ok with that tooth. Congrats on your anniversary. You two are so cute together. It's nice to see after 25 years.

I'm a curly girl! I don't totally use the curly girl method but I have cut out any "cones" and I also mostly co-cleanse my hair. Btw Umberto Giannini do a fantastic Banana Butter Co-wash. I find the Cantu Curl Activator Cream pretty crunchy so I use that but I mix a bit of Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling Lotion. The latter seems v moisturising for me and my waves and my curls look great with that combo. I do try other things constantly though lol. There are so many products now for curly hair. When I was younger there was nothing - I just used a mousse! Btw my hair is pretty fine. I love the curly look on you. I always think curls look youthful! Hope your year improves. Emma x
Hi Nisha! I also have watched the curly girl videos and learned that I have wavy hair, as well. I have tried all of the products and methods and it looks ok, but is too flat on top for me. I need volume. I'll keep on styling mine as usual, too. I'm so glad Paul is staying on the sofa-gate for you! Louis needs a good vet! Poor little guy! Nisha the curly girl method is fab esp on holiday in a hot climate as you can literally let your hair air dry instead of using hoot tools/hair dryer in the heat! Also good in the summer time here!

Love this hair on you, very refreshing! I have been wearing mine like this recently-the time saver! ❤ I do it a bit differently. I dry it with a diffuser and then, kind of work in reverse: spray my hair with water just a bit and add a mousse and scrunch, let it dry (this way I have high hair at the roots).

I have curly grey hair that is your length but curlier & it drives me crazy. I am going back to get a layered & textured bob & this cut gives me a fantastic straight look & beautiful curls when diffused. I love Kevin Murphy products for volume & curl. Curl Smith #9 gives good hold & Boucleme products. I don’t break up curls but I do go underneath the curls, near scalp & rub pulling outward which gives volume. Curly hair is a lot of work.

You look amazing. I like your hair. When it's dry, you can use texturizing or hair spray to fliff it to get your big hair.

I did the scrunching diffuser thing decades ago. Never knew it had a name! Looked too unruly on me to try it these days but, back then, wild big hair was the thing! You were able to get a nicer controlled curl than I could. It looks good!
I recall it being a lot of work though, and it hurt my arms and hands to scrunch and diffuse quite long hair back then. Having seen how nice yours is I might try it again now that my hair is shorter.🤔

Your hair looks so nice. I had straight hair my entire life. In 2020 during the pandemic it went curly! I am 63 years old and don't know what happened. Not really happy but accepting it.

Love the waves! After your hair dries, use a silk scarf to scrunch out the gel. It's easier on the hair and prevents frizz. You can also diffuse with your head inverted while drying..it helps to create body and height on the crown. ❤

Happy Anniversary and I love your hair. Mine was always stick straight and as I have gotten older it now has a lot of waves, so I can wear it curly or straighten it. I have notices it is a lot frizzier when I when I blow dry.

The shape of our hair follicles can change from round which produce’s straight hair and oval which produces wavy or curly hair. Hormones can play a part as well. I had stick straight fine textured hair all my life. In my early sixties I noticed a wave pattern after washing my hair. I remembered years ago in Cosmetology school learning this.

Hi Nisha I was exactly the same. Never knew mine was curly until I had a layered cut. Love it unless I want it straight as it always wants to curl. Especially as I live a humid Australia city.

Nisha & Paul ~ Happy 25th! God grant you many years! Definitely talk to the vet. When he/she sees that tooth it'll be readily apparent that something went awry during his procedure. I'm sorry that they'll likely have to repeat it. The infection has to be taken care of. Nisha, your wavy hair looks adorable on you. I know you weren't going for 'adorable' but it's such a youthful, carefree look! The best! It takes getting used to ~ the process, I mean. I scrunch while flipped over & I use the diffuser all over. Then I flip upright & let my hair air-dry, no longer scrunching until it's totally dry. Then I flip over & just lightly massage the roots for lift. When I flip back I scrunch out the crunch for the most part. The next morning I just spritz lightly with water, scrunch a little with gel or mousse & the products reactivate. Easy peasy *&* great for damp, drizzly weather. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY
Like you, I didn't realize my hair was wavy until 15 yrs ago. I always thought of it as "wrinkled" and spent way too much time trying to straighten it. Wavy hair does look fuller, and it softens the face too. Yours is so pretty!
Nisha! You are beautiful! I used to do the curly girl method! I have slightly wavy hair when I do the curly girl method, and it made my hair look fuller. My hair was thinning due to thyroid issues , my thyroid was treated and hair grew back. I must be having more issues with my thyroid because my hair is thinning again. I may need to revisit the girly girl method!

How fun with your curly hair. Before my hair became so thin, I used to do that sometimes. Now I wear wigs. I understand about dogs and their teeth. I took my dog in for a procedure, and I said to clean her teeth while she was under. It had been a year. They pulled all her teeth, saying they were all bad. I was so upset and didn't believe them. Plus 800.00 dollars later. ... I hope Louie is ok with that tooth. Congrats on your anniversary. You two are so cute together. It's nice to see after 25 years.

I'm a curly girl! I don't totally use the curly girl method but I have cut out any "cones" and I also mostly co-cleanse my hair. Btw Umberto Giannini do a fantastic Banana Butter Co-wash. I find the Cantu Curl Activator Cream pretty crunchy so I use that but I mix a bit of Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling Lotion. The latter seems v moisturising for me and my waves and my curls look great with that combo. I do try other things constantly though lol. There are so many products now for curly hair. When I was younger there was nothing - I just used a mousse! Btw my hair is pretty fine. I love the curly look on you. I always think curls look youthful! Hope your year improves. Emma x
Hi Nisha! I also have watched the curly girl videos and learned that I have wavy hair, as well. I have tried all of the products and methods and it looks ok, but is too flat on top for me. I need volume. I'll keep on styling mine as usual, too. I'm so glad Paul is staying on the sofa-gate for you! Louis needs a good vet! Poor little guy! Nisha the curly girl method is fab esp on holiday in a hot climate as you can literally let your hair air dry instead of using hoot tools/hair dryer in the heat! Also good in the summer time here!
Nisha, lol I didn’t realize I had curly hair until I was in my 40s. My step daughter made me realize that. And the vet. I hope that you will find a vet that you really love like we have. It makes a big difference. The LED mask I am going to have to get one of those. You just reminded me that I have to make an appt for my home insurance company to come out and repair my dishwasher. Love this hair on you, very refreshing! I have been wearing mine like this recently-the time saver! ❤ I do it a bit differently. I dry it with a diffuser and then, kind of work in reverse: spray my hair with water just a bit and add a mousse and scrunch, let it dry (this way I have high hair at the roots).

PS…..the key is to diffuse the scrunched hair….then do not touch it….until completely dry. Then scrunch out the crunch with a little oil.
I have curly grey hair that is your length but curlier & it drives me crazy. I am going back to get a layered & textured bob & this cut gives me a fantastic straight look & beautiful curls when diffused. I love Kevin Murphy products for volume & curl. Curl Smith #9 gives good hold & Boucleme products. I don’t break up curls but I do go underneath the curls, near scalp & rub pulling outward which gives volume. Curly hair is a lot of work.
Love the waves! Same happened to me. Apparently, it’s hormone related. Took about six months, now mine is so curly!
