I competed in the Yamaha Electone Festival and won the regional competition in the 80’s. I loved that organ.

Lieber Markus, tausend Dank dafür. Ich habe es zweimal angehört und dabei geschwelgt, nicht zuletzt auch in alten Zeiten. Schön war die Zeit. Schön ist Deine Sammlung. Schön und lässig Dein Spiel. Was die FE-Orgel anbelangt, so habe ich auch mit dem Korg keine Möglichkeit, es selber einzustellen. Aber ich kann natürlich viel kombinieren. Der Klang ist erstklassig. Die Zugriegel taugen natürlich nicht viel. Aber die gesampelten Hammond-Orgeln sehr, sehr viel. Wie schön wäre es, uns mal wieder zu sehen.

Just by listening without looking/watching the video, as soon as he switches playing from the 1st organ (year 1984) to the second one (Yamaha C-605) i noticed right away that the bass sound is slightly more analog with more springy sound compared to the 1st as the 2nd one is older from 1982. I really enjoyed hearing and watching this!!!👍

Sehr schön. Und der Gag mit den "eingeflogenen Noten"... gut gemacht. Ich gebe zu, da werde ichschon etwas neidisch. So viele schöne Instrumente. Ich habe leider keine Orgel mehr, von meiner kleinen Ansammlung damals ist nicht geblieben :-(

A nice collection there. All quite costly when new but now, these can be picked up for next to nothing. Such a food value hobby! I had a FX20 quite somevtime back. Not a bad instrument and the auto sliders were a novelty. Had an issue with a DAC unit but fixed under warranty. Have to say, I preffered the sound of the older yamaha and, even before, those from the BK range, good flutes. My 605, I traded in for a Hammond which has always been my favourite but, so many out there to choose from. Great to see you keeping these instruments in use, too many discarded and forgotten.👍

das war ja mal `ne tolle außergewöhnliche Idee mit dem Orgeltausch. Das hat mit super gut gefallen.
Aber natürlich auch der Titel "Sunny" war echt gut. So im direkten Vergleich hat mir sogar die ältere C-605 klanglich besser gefallen als die FE-70.
(rein subjektiv)
Hast du übrigens die Noten erhalten, die ich dir geschickt habe, bzw. kannst du was damit anfangen?

Here in Brazil It's a relic, cause there's a protestant church here called "Congregação Cristã no Brasil" which used these models of Yamaha organs for decades and now their sound sounds like tradition. Of course, in the church they don't play all these remixed drums and etc, but only the flute/trumpet/strings, vibrato, tremolo registers to have the religious effect.

Yamaha took away the ability to create your own organ sounds when the F-series Electones were introduced (except on the very top models).

These C-series models look like attempts to make cheaper versions of the D-series by reducing the number of keys. But how much do you save, really?
Well Laurence the C-605 was sold for 7990 and the next D-model the D- 65 for 8990, the D-85 for 11990 and the E-45 for 15200.
