- ALRIGHT apparently this isn’t technically a half sleeve. that’s what my artist told me it would be that’s what i feel like it is. so yes, quarter sleeve half sleeve WHATEVER it’s big thank you bye
I don't know why I didn't say this in the video, but I filmed most of this in November and didn't post it because I was still unsure about my tattoo (felt like it didn't suit me) and wanted to wait it out before people say mean things about it in the comments lol. BUT now I'm posting it because I feel more like myself than I've ever felt and wanted to share my forever art with you!!

ANNA THIS IS IMPORTANT i was in the same place as you like i wanted to shave my head but people told me not to so i just didn't butttt i was made aware of an organization called st baldricks where you basically pledge to shave your head in march and then you raise money beforehand for childhood cancer research. Basically you get to be awesome and bald while making your family members give money to cancer research! you should totally do it!!!

GIRL! I did the same thing then I got one of my bigger pieces. I was super freaked out by it right after I got it. Like I would not even look at it lol. Which is so super weird because I want lots of tattoos, but I totally relate to what you were saying about how it was so crazy to see your body change and so quickly.
Also I love your piece so much I think it is gorgeous. I also struggle because I feel like I don't exactly "fit" the type of person to have tattoos, but at the end of the day as long as you like it that's all that matters!

@@codimarie090 hi, it wasn't the size of it that didn't feel like me, it was the actual tattoo itself (it was some moon flowers that were done poorly). i got it covered by a big trad piece and i've loved it ever since.

girl it’s a beautiful tattoo!! i can relate so much to what u said. i got a tattoo late last month that’s super big too and was scared that it didn’t look right on me or that i looked like an imposter because i only have two on that arm and the rest of my tattoos are pretty hidden , i’ve been kind of in that stage of hiding it but the last week or so i’ve been feeling better ab it and plan on getting more to surround it! so i 100% feel u , it feels nice to not feel so alone in such a weird situation. ps , i also wanna shave my head so bad it’s so dead and gets everywhere (let’s do it together LOL)
I know the feeling of the first tattoo. Honestly, even when I said that I loved it, I was hella scared of how people would see me. So I got a second one two weeks after. It made feel so much better. More confident. Your tattoos are really pretty, btw 🙆🏻♀️

That's a great first tattoo. Got my first on my thigh and didn't shock me because I don't really see it. I'm ready for more and I've finally come to terms with the fact that idc what my family thinks. Got mine on my thigh so some of my family don't know I have it. Not letting them have any influence on what my next tattoos will be.
Also went to NC to get my tattoo and apparently everyone was staring at us (brother & mom). I didn't even notice because I was exhausted by the time we went out to eat. After my brother said people were staring it was weird. Was weird eating Mexican food at a white restaurant.

I paid a $100 deposit about 2 months prior + $500 cash and a $70 tip. so in total it was $670. this particular piece was a little more expensive than usual i think but obviously it was worth it! it was definitely an investment lol

It’s hilarious how you think Republicans don’t accept tattooed and pierced people. If only you can just come out of your little bubble and realize that a huge percentage of Republicans/ Conservatives are covered in tattoos. I’m gonna be going to school in Oklahoma but in Norman. I’m kinda scared since I’m also from Texas and idk Oklahoma isn’t that far... it just doesn’t seem that great... like the school I want to go to seems fine but the state itself it just kinda... crusty?
I think it helps that you’re going to school! Having a community definitely helped me. but without school I don’t think I would be able to live here. BUT that’s just because I prefer to live in super artsy and naturey places. I’m always over dramatic about oklahoma but it’s really not bad, just not my preference! But you may like it more than you think:)
