- Angry Birds Go is probably one of the strangest Angry Birds games out there, so of course I'm gonna speedrun it. I also got multiple world records in this video... somehow. Yay for me!

I remember the original version of Angry Birds Go. That was until Rovio decided to ruin everything in an update. I'm not entirely sure if it was 2.0 or later.
It was 2.0, but slightly before that in the 2015 Halloween update, some things were removed that made 1.0 so missed, most notably the Mechanic Pig.
Fun fact: This game had an amibo-like system where you could scan angry birds figurines and earn special cars and parts.
Same with Star Wars II, I still have that Tusken Raider pig with a sniper shot
I still have a few of those for this game. I got them years ago. They're called telepods I think, but unfortunately I can't redeem them because you need a base, which i dont have.

Fun little fact: if you use chuck in the final track
activate his special at the part where where you go down the water fall
you go so fast that your car cant actually handle the speed anymore (make sure you have maxed out your car)
Man, I remembered when this game was the greatest. The UI was intuitive, it wasn’t overly pay-to-win, timers weren’t too long and the game wasn’t very big. I reinstalled the game recently and the only thing I could say was

This is one of those childhood games that I have never seen in a “games you used to play” type shorts.
Can I just say the editor did an awesome job. I had so many laughs 🤣
Honestly, it was a really good game, even though it was running on 15fps on my tablet back in the days, I still had fun in this game. Shame Rovio isn't as creative as it was back in the days.
I like the older version, it's called "modes" back then not levels, so you actually feel like you're grinding, while the new version makes you feel like replaying levels, also they change the order you unlock the birds

This game was a fun part of my childhood, I got used to the bad controls and progressed pretty far (Up to the point where you unlock the 2 blue bird things) and never played since
Honestly this game looks like it could be really great with some small quality of life upgrades. The tracks look fun to race on with other people.
the older versions was a multiplayer game iirc, they shut down the servers, removed a lot of stuff and changed it into a level-based singleplayer race game in the 2.0 update (more like downgrade).
I miss the time when I was able to unlock all the characters and see them do random idle stuff on the tree

The new version has it’s ups and downs, but mostly downs. I have to wait DAYS just to beat a single level because the other option is paying micro transactions, I don’t mean I have to grind for days I mean I have to look at a timer for days because the daily races only give some of what I need

Sorry to disappoint you, but somewhere between 2018 and 2019 Rovio discontinued most of its AB games and deleted them from the app stores. The only ones remaining (aside from bubble shooters and "3-in-a-row" games) are Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds Friends, AB Transformes and Bad Piggies.

This game was so cool when it first came out. I have so much nostalgia for playing it back in the day. But then I saw the new version and was disappointed that I can’t really relive that nostalgia anymore.
I played this game almost every day when is was younger, and i’ll tell you it changed so much, like there was a tree, and you would scroll through the tree and select your characters, the levels are also very different since i last saw it.

I remember I saved up the gem things to buy red’s boosts for so long to beat chuck who had the OP speed boost. Felt so accomplished when I beat him.
when i beat Chuck i wait for him to crash himself or i get a chance to be in front of him and stand RIGHT in front of him so that he bump into me when he use his power. Sometime it worked and sometime i die, but when i beat him i was so happy that i show my dad that i got Chuck and i bet my dad didn't know who Chuck is. Ahh, Good Old Time

@@AmazingFalah I legit just redownloaded the original and when I versed chuck the speed boosts he would leave behind seemed so much better than before like one of them would send you miles in front and then he wouldn't be able to use his boost anymore and when you unlock him if you use his boost you go slo mo and even if you go ages ahead the ai rubberband back to you

4:01, speaking of the resetting system, if you hit that big ice spike cliff thing on the right before u fall, it will actually reset u way ahead of where you originally were. Might've helped with the speedrun :)

It's quite bad for me, I have such a short patient span back then and rage quit alot before finish the game
I can literally remember playing this game while getting my hair cut,. I wish it was still available on the app store. I miss the original version so much, the one that wasn't riddled with ads, and when rocky Road was 2nd, and you unlocked Stella before bomb. I passed so many hours on this game and I will always love it, no matter how much rovio fuck it up with ads and pay to win garbage.

On the loop the loop at 9:36, I remember you can die and respawn at the end of it to save time though you have to gain control quickly. I did it by accident once and then started doing it on purpose. -sincerely Uel

There are plenty of places on the internet that you can download a file of any version of the game. Played the 1.0 version to completion a month or so back.

GOD, I still have the little pedestal and the little cars with QR codes on the bottom to scan them in the game and use the cars... the nostalgia.

Me too. I loved angry birds, downloaded this, learned about the toys I couldn’t buy that you needed for the cool stuff, and the rest of the game was bad too. I was a disappointed child.

You should speed run “destroy the microwave” ins an IRL game where you destroy a microwave as fast as possible but the rule is you have to break it by microwaving “stuff”

In the map showed at 03:17 I got an amazing shortcut here by getting a really bad landing then getting an insane bounce off the ground launching me over the invisible wall falling through the entire thing finishing first
