Yeah it wasn't paying the bills at rovio and it suffered. The good thing is that you can get old apks to work so you can still have the feel of the original if you wish

Honestly, it was a really good game, even though it was running on 15fps on my tablet back in the days, I still had fun in this game. Shame Rovio isn't as creative as it was back in the days.
I like the older version, it's called "modes" back then not levels, so you actually feel like you're grinding, while the new version makes you feel like replaying levels, also they change the order you unlock the birds

Sorry to disappoint you, but somewhere between 2018 and 2019 Rovio discontinued most of its AB games and deleted them from the app stores. The only ones remaining (aside from bubble shooters and "3-in-a-row" games) are Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds Friends, AB Transformes and Bad Piggies.
The new version has it’s ups and downs, but mostly downs. I have to wait DAYS just to beat a single level because the other option is paying micro transactions, I don’t mean I have to grind for days I mean I have to look at a timer for days because the daily races only give some of what I need
When was that? I don’t think there was a single noticeable time period since the popularization of video games that there weren’t a massive amount of cash grab games

when i beat Chuck i wait for him to crash himself or i get a chance to be in front of him and stand RIGHT in front of him so that he bump into me when he use his power. Sometime it worked and sometime i die, but when i beat him i was so happy that i show my dad that i got Chuck and i bet my dad didn't know who Chuck is. Ahh, Good Old Time

Fun little fact: if you use chuck in the final track activate his special at the part where where you go down the water fall you go so fast that your car cant actually handle the speed anymore (make sure you have maxed out your car)

You should speed run “destroy the microwave” ins an IRL game where you destroy a microwave as fast as possible but the rule is you have to break it by microwaving “stuff”
the older versions was a multiplayer game iirc, they shut down the servers, removed a lot of stuff and changed it into a level-based singleplayer race game in the 2.0 update (more like downgrade).

It was 2.0, but slightly before that in the 2015 Halloween update, some things were removed that made 1.0 so missed, most notably the Mechanic Pig.
This is one of those childhood games that I have never seen in a “games you used to play” type shorts.
