    Ingredients:
    For the Salad:
1 large romaine lettuce (or 2 small ones), washed and dried
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Croutons made from Italian garlic bread (recipe below)
    For the Dressing:
    2 cloves garlic, paste
1 anchovy fillet (or 1 teaspoon anchovy paste)
    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
    1/2 cup olive oil
2 egg yolk (optional, for a more traditional dressing)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the Italian Garlic Bread Croutons:
1 loaf of Italian bread (like ciabatta or a baguette)
    1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    2 cloves garlic, halved
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
    Salt to taste
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Italian Garlic Bread Croutons:
    Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush the halved ciabatta with melted butter
Put in the oven for 15-20 minutes
Rub cut side of garlic to the crispy side of bread
Put some Parmesan cheese and olive oil on top and put in the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
    Make Croutons:
Once the garlic bread is cool enough to handle, cut it into bite-sized cubes to create croutons.
    2. Prepare the Salad:
    Prepare the Lettuce:
Tear the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.
    Make the Dressing:
In a medium bowl, combine the garlic paste and anchovy fillet paste .
Add the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well.
If using egg yolk, whisk it in at this stage.
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking constantly, until the dressing is emulsified.
Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
    3. Assemble the Salad:
    Combine Ingredients:
Add the Italian garlic bread croutons to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
Pour the dressing over the lettuce and croutons. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.
Sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
    Serve:
Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
